Lupin III, The World’s Greatest Thieves are Coming to SM Cinema!

After Kenshin’s invasion to Manila with “Rurouni Kenshin” (read the article here) comes another live-action adaptation anime and manga fans cannot miss: “Lupin the Third” gets an exclusive release at SM Cinema starting September 17!

The movie is inspired by the hit series stars Shun Oguri as the titular character, with Tetsuji Tamayama, Gou Ayano, Meisa Kuroki, and Tadanobu Asano. In the movie, the gang will attempt to retrieve the Crimson Heart of Cleopatra, which allows its owner to control the world.

SM Cinema, in cooperation with Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines, brings to the Philippines the red carpet premiere of Rurouni Kenshin: Tokyo Inferno. This red carpet premiere in SM Megamall features the movie’s director, Keishi Ohtomo, as well as the leading characters including Takeru Satoh, Emi Takei, and Munetaka Aoki. With this red-carpet premiere, moviegoers will get to watch the much-awaited movie before its actual screening date. Moreover, fans will get to meet Rurouni Kenshin’s Japanese talents.

Rurouni Kenshin:Kyoto Inferno Red Carpet Experience and Asian Premier

Maybe because of the warm acceptance of the first movie, cast and director of Rurouni Kenshin came here to the Philippines to promote the Asian sequel movie – Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, that will open on August 20, 2014 across the Philippines.It will be then followed by “Rurouni Kenshis: The Legends Ends” on Sept 24, 2014. Both films are distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Camera’s and Phones started to raise up as the director and the cast was shown going down to their vehicles one by one. The crowd even goes wild when they see Takeru Satoh (kenshin Himura), Emi Takei (Kaoru Kamiya), Munetaka Aoki (Sanosuke Sagara) and director Keishi Otomo walks down the red carpet.
