The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (#PIHABF) is one of the longest-running sports aviation event you shouldn’t missed. It is happening from February 8-11, 2018 at Omni Aviation Complex in Clark, Pampanga. That is just an hour and 30 minutes ride from Quezon City and is really accessible for commuters. So, if seeing a Hot Air Balloon fly in the sky is part of your bucket list (and a lot more), better get on to your feet and visit.

And if you got an extra money to spend maybe you can even ride a balloon or do skydiving. This could be your moment. Have I said already that I almost ticked jumping off a plane on my list?

The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (PIHABF) is all set to celebrate it’s 22nd year of the much-awaited Weekend of Everything that Flies, happening on February 8-11, 2017 at the Omni Aviation Complex in Clark, Pampanga.

Be amaze on the festivities this year as the event will showcase 26 colorful hot air balloons from all over the world, featuring a big number of new special-shaped balloons: Happy Heart, Matryoshka Russian Doll, Queen’s Guard, Giant Strawberry, Buddy Balloon, Captain Jack, Princess Nellie, Vostok Balloon, Master Yoda, Morris the Donkey, Bruno the Clown and Pepe the Hedgehog.

It was a view of Lubao, Pampanga in a different angle. With dusty blue sky, the horizon was given more life by the different shapes, colors and sizes of hot air balloons. Never had I imagined that I would be able to fly and ride this, and yet I did, and the experience is near to magical!

Lubao International Hot Air Balloon in Pradera Verde made a way for me to cross out one of my wish list – to fly and ride a Hot Air Balloon. Here is my first experience and a few tips for first time riders.
