7 sets of Push-ups, sit-ups and air-squats in 10 minutes! Beat that!

Not that I’m bragging, I am just proud of my self that I could still keep up in the game even I’ve been stale in doing exercises. It’s been months since the last time I visited the gym and my kettlebells and dumbbells was eventually been change to lifting rice bowls and pots.

The 7 sets I did was still an easy pace compare from my previous experiences I had but I do not want to really force my self on doing more. It was a routine of 5 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 15 air squats. It was the warm up work out of the day and can be considered really light for those who have been doing this for quite sometime. I was able to do this when UNIQLO invited me to join them on a crossfit session at Primal Ape in Makati City. I was hesitant at first but the thought of challenging myself and doing better made me reconsider plus of course, It’s a free workout with a free wear.

My Fitness Journey at The Foundry Fitness & Athletics

I’ve been dreaming and wanting to have that (pa-yummy) hard bod! And I know it isn’t that easy to achieve specially if your above 25 already. I’ve been working out for almost 5 years now, but I guess my hard-work still didn’t paid off. Maybe I’m doing something that isn’t right or my time spent at the gym is not enough or maybe I’ve been eating the wrong foods.

I’ve been spending almost Php 1,500 per month just to get access to the gym facilities and been trying to visit as much as I could. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? My 8-minute Challenge at CrossfitMNL

In Crossfit, the workouts are a combination of Cardio, Track & Field, Plyometrics, Rowing, Gymnastics, Kettlebell and Weightlifting. You will be doing the workout together with other Crossfitters of all ages and all fitness levels. It’s actually like attending in school performing the regular P.E. class.

Coach Paulo Tatad entertained us and toured us in the place. They do have very minimal equipments that they use in their routines. Coach Paulo is assigned to do the class in the morning and lunch while Coach Miguel Dy Buncio, the onwer and is also one of the coaches is assigned later in the afternoon till evening.
