Women Stepping Up Forum

All business and professional women are invited to a whole day forum entitled Women Stepping Up:  Conversations on Women Leadership and Empowerment on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Carlos P. Romulo Theater, RCBC Plaza, Makati City. The event is powered by the Business and Professional Women’s Network or BPW Makati-PH and co-sponsored by Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation.

BPW Makati-PH is affiliated with the International Federation of BPW, founded in 1930 with presence in over 100 countries in 5 continents with consultative status in the United Nations. It is the NGO signatory to the UN Global Compact, specifically under UN Women that focuses on women’s empowerment principles. “The BPW Makati-PH chapter focuses its direction towards women SME’s capacity and enterprise building, and leadership for all professional women. The aim is to increase women’s participation in the economy and in decision-making roles. Through this forum and the BPW Makati’s succeeding mentoring programs and workshops, we hope to help develop women leaders to enhance the global image of the Filipina,” says BPW Makati Founding President Jeannie E. Javelosa.

            The November 12 Women Stepping Up event brings together inspiring international and local women speakers to share strategies and stories to help women advance, rise, improve, and boost skills and capacities for global competitiveness. The forum presents the challenge for women to step up in management, leadership, finance, business development, personal branding, and motivation!
