It was not too long ago when the song “Kumapit ka lang” composed by Noemi Ocio and Interpreted by Mela was hailed as last years, grand winner. This time, the 12 ‘A Song of Praise’ (ASOP) Music Festival Finalists have already been announced and in just a few days one lucky composer will again take home Php 500,000 cash prize. There is a saying ” Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.” And this I think was the highlight of the month of March. The opportunities from last month flourish and become an avenue for me to improve more in different ways this month. I tried to be busy and kept on finding ways to bring in more knowledge that I can use to produce a better self. And just like everybody says, life is a continuous learning process.
The month of March includes learning new skills like archery and driving, finding my luck in the production business, expanding my network and adding more memories with my family and friends.
An online video caught my attention a few days ago where a doctor was discussing about Post Holiday Fitness. It was a perfect timing for me for I told my self that this January, I would begin a lifestyle modification. Specially now that the holiday celebrations had ended and theres buffet table no more, making it the best time for me to do it.
Rolan is a tricycle driver and been doing this job for quite a long time already. Amazingly, aside from his driving skills he was given a talent to write songs. And his job as a tricycle driver and God’s daily blessings inspires him to create a feel good song entitled “IKAW NA LANG MAG-DRIVE NG BUHAY KO.”
Rolan’s song luckily has been included as one of the twelve finalist for this years “A Song of Praise Music festival 2015.”
