The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (#PIHABF) is one of the longest-running sports aviation event you shouldn’t missed. It is happening from February 8-11, 2018 at Omni Aviation Complex in Clark, Pampanga. That is just an hour and 30 minutes ride from Quezon City and is really accessible for commuters. So, if seeing a Hot Air Balloon fly in the sky is part of your bucket list (and a lot more), better get on to your feet and visit.

And if you got an extra money to spend maybe you can even ride a balloon or do skydiving. This could be your moment. Have I said already that I almost ticked jumping off a plane on my list?

The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (PIHABF) is all set to celebrate it’s 22nd year of the much-awaited Weekend of Everything that Flies, happening on February 8-11, 2017 at the Omni Aviation Complex in Clark, Pampanga.

Be amaze on the festivities this year as the event will showcase 26 colorful hot air balloons from all over the world, featuring a big number of new special-shaped balloons: Happy Heart, Matryoshka Russian Doll, Queen’s Guard, Giant Strawberry, Buddy Balloon, Captain Jack, Princess Nellie, Vostok Balloon, Master Yoda, Morris the Donkey, Bruno the Clown and Pepe the Hedgehog.

I may not experience jumping out of the helicopter to do skydiving, but I think I did have some ‘skydiving’ moment in the past few days. The month of April 2017 was full of first and trying to keep my self be surrounded by courage. It was first time to do a 21-hour road trip passing different provinces, first time to battle and drive around Makati City, the first time in Bohol and the first time to do a talk in straight English. Most of the activities I did do require courage and self confidence and I was thankful to surpass every each of it.
