Lazada 11.11 closes with Record-Breaking Sales

Lazada 11.11 witnessed new record-high numbers in the Philippines, as Filipinos logged in by the millions to choose from over 11 Million deals available in the biggest 24-hour Shopping Festival.

Filipinos went online starting midnight of 11 November to catch the massive discounts onthousands of local and international brands. During the first hour, 1 Million shoppers have joined the occasion and 1 Million items have been immediately sold. By the end of the day, the Lazada Millionaires Club, where sellers past the P1 Million sale mark earn membership, rose to a new total of 1,141 sellers.

Uncomfortable shaving problems – solved!

I’ve been using razors since I started to grow facial hair. I’ve been doing it for more than a decade and I could honestly say that I haven’t mastered it still. Why? Usually, after shaving, I would find myself ending up having cuts and nicks on my neck. Which is really irritating. Thus, making shaving a tiring activity for me most of the time. That I would rather skip it at times rather than having that uncomfortable feeling right after.

Saving energy is an emerging environmental issue. It is said that lighting alone accounts for almost a fifth of global energy – equivalent to 1.9 billion tons of carbon emissions every year. Everybody depends on this energy and having a power outage (which is possible) is one thing that we don’t want to happen. That is why at an early stage we need to move on.

Jointly organized by Philips, Deutsche Investitions – und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (DEG) Bank, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines, and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), the #MayMagagawaKa campaign encourages Filipinos to start saving energy now, raise awareness and build urgency on energy conservation in the country.
