There are few spices that I like eating raw: chili, garlic, onion and tomato. I am not really a fan of tomato or any other vegetables when I was kid. I guess most of us were not. Whenever mom prepares salted egg salad, you’ll find me picking only the egg and leaving all the tomatoes on the plate. Same goes with other vegetables. I think the only non-meat that I really love to eat back then was potato specially when its sautéed with ground pork.
Back then, my mom usually tells me the importance of eating vegetables specially tomato, that eating will make our skin glow. Eventually, I was able to take it in and considered it now as one of my favorites.

34 Going on 32 (hopefully)

Ladies and gentlemen, today I embark on a journey—a journey to trim down my waist by two inches that is.

Before anything else, please allow me to clarify a few things: First, I am not young. I am already thirty something (No, I will not disclose my real age here) and thus, my metabolism is not as good as it used to be. Second, I am not doing this only because it’s summer and I want to flaunt perfectly sculpted abs on the beach…or at least not for that reason alone. I am doing this because I want to prove a point—that if you work really hard and remain focus, weight loss is very much achievable, even for a matakaw like me. And lastly, yes, I know that 34 is not really a bad waistline, but for my height and body type, 34 actually means having a tummy that protrudes.
