A taste of Kapampangan flavor at Apag Marangle

Translated as Hain sa Bukid, Apag Marangle is a restaurant situated in the middle of a fish pond, serving authentic medley of mouth-watering Kapampangan dishes and related cuisine perfectly complemented by an inviting native architecture.

I was able to visit the place when I was invited to attend this years Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival. Through the #VisitPampanga campaign, the bloggers and other media where also invited to experience the different things Pampanga could offer, which includes dining at Apag Marangle.

Giant Sisig kicks off MarQuee Mall’s Big Bite! The Northern Food Festival!

The Northern Food Festival kicks off last friday (October 17,2014) with fireworks, marching band, street dancing and serving of the largest plate of sizzling sisig in the country.

One of the highlights of the event is the cook up of the iconic Kapampangan dish at the opening ceremony. With an 11-feet in diameter sizzling plate, this serving of Sisig promises to be the largest one ever cooked up in the province. The Giant Sisig was cooked by popular Chefs like Chef Sau Del Rosario, Chef Jam Melchor, Chef Bong Sagmit and the HRM Students of Systems Plus College Foundations headed by Dean Rennier Perez.
