Where to EAT IN DAVAO CITY (Kadayawan Festival 2018)

Friends from Davao City told me that if ever I’ll be visiting Davao, I should prepare my self to a lot if eating, like a lot! Well, it was true after all. Just like Manila, Davao City got a lot to offer when it comes to food choices. But one thing is sure here, expect that restaurants in Davao City would only serve freshly catch or picked ingredients for your meal. During Kadayawan Month, vegetables and fruits are also abundant, so you could always dive into your favorite dishes and harvest at a much affordable price.

It wasn’t my first time to visit Davao City but during Kadayawan festival, restaurants and food hubs are also on a festive mood offering a wider selection of menu, promos and discounts which could really entice not just the local buyers but most especially travellers.

Locally, this brand hits the market highlighting Pinoy Humor

How witty can Filipinos be? From Starbuko (sounds like Starbucks) that sells buko juice; Harry Cutter, a barbershop that is rooted from Harry Potter; Libing Things (living things ), which ironically named for a funeral parlor; Mami Pakyaw (from Manny Pacquiao) which sells mami noodles, and many more. Filipinos do really know how to crack it up, do some word play and creating a witty brand name. That is just crazily amazing!

One brand I recently discover do know how to be witty when it comes to product naming. But what is good about this product is aside from inducing ‘Pinoy Humor’, it also promotes responsible goodness while helping the indigenous and/or local producers in the country. The brand is called LOCALLY.
