HOOQ – the largest Video on Demand service in South-East Asia – premieres 5 original selected screenplays as pilot episodes to on the platform today. This is part of the inaugural HOOQ Filmmakers Guild wherein the best of these 5 pilots will be commissioned into a full series on the platform.
I have this vision before of turning my dreams into a film, I believe that it is one of the best sources for a movie plot. Most of dreams when I was growing up could probably be turn into a suspense/thriller films, (also fantasy), you can probably know already that I most of the time I’m having a bad dream. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to write down any of it and most of the time some details where already forgotten as soon as I woke up. Maybe it is not really meant to be remembered.
But for those people who felt they got a nice plot to share and created into a series or a movies someday, well this could be your chance to push for it.
MMFF 2016 is a success and good reviews and comments are overflowing. I was able to view 6 of it and I truly love each of it. I definitely recommend for you to watch all of it too and check out how our movie industry have improve over the years.
“Seklusyon” is a brave movie that do away from the usual Filipino scary films but instead touch your inner self to think about that one big terror in your life you couldn’t let go. That is just how I look at the film and will let you do your own interpretation about it.
Isn’t it amazing to feel that your doing something you love and at the same time inspiring other people to do the same. Something to be proud of, isn’t it? Especially, if your changing someone’s lives to a good way.
