Featuring “Asian Flavors” at SySu’s Taste Setters Workshop

Indian flavor are soon to come in and Modern Chinese is said to be going big. Sinigang and Adobo are already done and Kilawin is coming back, Paksiw is also something to experiment with. These are just some of the trends that I’ve learned from the recent Taste Setters workshop I attended held at Reston University in Taguig City. The information handed over could be very useful specially for food entrepreneurs, chefs, commissary owners and those who are within the circle. For me, I could probably experiment at home and impress my family and friends over the food I’ll be cooking.

‘All About Spicy’ at TasteSetters Workshop #SetTheTrend

I’m ecstatically eager to attend todays seminar conducted by Tastesetters not just because I love to learn more about cooking but also because I find todays theme to be interesting. I’m half Bicolano, and grew up surrounded by people who loves spicy dishes. Making that a big influence to my liking when it comes to food. And for todays workshop is “All about Spicy”! *grin*

Imagine Tabasco sauce in your Creme Brulee, Green curry rice or Chocolate Chicken Nuggets, and so much more. Weird as it may sound but the tastesetters participants really set the bar high when it comes to creation and creativity. Well those are just a few of what I have witness when I attended the event.

#HARRYBIRTHDAYRUTH

You might hate me for this, but truly, Im no (super) fan of Harry Potter Series (or I may have watched it but I’m not going gaga over it). Maybe I’m just the usual guy who knows most of the character of the movie/series but doesn’t seem to remember them by names (except for the main characters ofcourse). But anyway, that’s just me. I guess, some of you might know Harry, some might not. But a friend of mine, in particular – Ruth Dela Cruz, is somehow, can be considered (I think) as a fantard when It comes to Harry Potter. Have I told you she celebrated her recent $%th Birthday the Muggle way?!

Clara Ole Singles Party

Yes, you read it right, I’m single, but let’s leave it that way for while and lets talk about the event I attended recently from Clara Ole. I don’t usually attend parties mainly because I’m too lazy or felt I’m too old attending one. It was my first time either to attend a singles party and I don’t have any idea what’s in it. So I said yes because I’m too curios plus a friend might be angry if I opted not to attend, in short I’m slightly forced! (Joke!)

How Clara Ole can make everyone a Cook!

I don’t really cook, or should i say I don’t have any proper education on cooking. But when needed, experimentation always bring me a long way. I guess a lot of my readers could relate to that. I just go to the kitchen check on whats available, then there an instant food menu will be created. Sometimes I hit the jackpot but most of the times, not. Recently, I discoverd a way to help me able to do magic and cook even easier. Clara Ole recently let me experience its convenience at the Potluck Foodfest launched last April 10, 2015 at the R-Space in Bel Air, Makati. Hosted by radio DJ Gelli Victor, the event was a food-filled afternoon that allowed us to sample different dishes made with Clara Ole.
