Adulting with Heart Evangelista – Tips in Financial Management

Adulting with heart Evangelista + RLC Residences

“You have to be responsible”

This is the response of Heart Evangelista when asked about the things nobody has told her that everybody should know when she decided to purchase her very first home.

“You have to be responsible … be prepared for the responsibilities.”

A line that could resonate with each and every individual who steps into adulting. Most especially when deciding to purchase your very first house. I personally am already curating my ideal home and it is just so inspiring to know that someone who is like Heart Evangelista, has also experienced struggles especially in the early years of her career.

Honestly speaking, it always intrigues me how she lives her life. That’s why when I was asked to join a virtual event with her on the front, I immediately said yes and attended.

RLC Residences
Yummy hors d’oeuvre sent straight to my home.

It was the launch of RLC Residences with their newest ambassador, none other Heart Evangelista.

RLC Residences is a brand under Robinsons Land Corporation that takes to heart many Filipino’s searches for comfort at home. The new brand takes property development to the next level as it promises an elevated lifestyle experience, fittingly brought to life by its brand ambassador, luxury brand influencer, Heart Evangelista.

At the event, we were able to virtually tour around the different properties while we get to know more about Heart Evangelista.

For Heart, finding a home that is close to where the action happens, is crucial. She also adds that when she was looking for her first house, location is really important.

“The pandemic has made me think about the importance of having a home in a central address,” Heart conveys. She shares further that having a strategic address in the metro means not wasting her precious time in traffic which in turn gives her energy to do more of the things she loves and spend more time with her family and friends.

Little do we know that even though Heart Evangelista has been such an icon in society when it comes to her hard-earned money, she knows exactly how to manage it.

“Cash is king.”

The best financial advice she got from her husband, Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

“Whenever I’m rushing or I wanna buy something, or I wanna shop, he’d always tell me, ‘Darling, cash is king,'”

“‘Just keep the saving and one day an opportunity will come up, like buying a property, then you would have something to put out.'”

Since the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, work has been accessible to her especially for her staff due to the fact that most of her employees have been staying with her ever since.

“Some of the people I work with, live with me now. There are things that I just can’t do on my own, that’s why I needed to have these people stay with me,” she said.

“[I’m just thankful] That I can house a lot of employees with me.

“When you have a roof over your head, you know you’re already blessed. And when you’re blessed, you have to share those blessings with others as well.”

With the new partnership along with RLC Residences and Heart Evangelista, and being one of the unit owners,  what more can we expect? Well, as a homemaker, she announces that she’ll be releasing new video makeovers of one of the units of RLC Residences,  she will give ideas on how to maximize the space, redecorate, give out-of-the-box tips on how to properly maintain a home, on a budget!

Listening to Heart actually made me really feel more thankful for what I have, most especially after hearing her advice to those who have been struggling with their jobs during this pandemic.

“Know why work is work because work is supposed to be hard. Don’t complain so much about work. You can do your other things on the side.

“You’re not necessarily supposed to love what you do all the time. It’s work. It’s supposed to be hard.

Until our next discovery in the City!
