Reminisce the hits of the 90’s, 80’s and the 70’s but not over the radio but by visiting this newly opened restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. Reminisque Bistro open it’s doors a few months ago (July 30, 2015), to provide a venue for adult professionals and yuppies who are craving for some straight-up, comfort grub with the distinct feel of hometown goodness.

On my visit, I got a chance to try some of the dishes that they are proud to offer. But before I showed you some of my favorites, let me show you first how it feels like to be inside this cozy restaurant.

Reminisque Bistro got this rustic homey feels that is designed with personal touch from the owners of the restaurant. In daytime you’ll get to see a simple yet homey set-up. It got a bar upfront with musical instrument ensembles. It also got a DJ deck and a space for live acoustic band. Private events and parties can also be held here through a separate room located at the far end. At the wall, you’ll see some photos personally shot by the owner himself to add a more personal touch to his restaurant. In the evening, the restaurant changes the mood into a more upbeat vibe, with colored lighted walls plus a spin of the hits from different generations provided by the resident DJ.

Now let me show you some of the dish that I like here at Reminisque Bistro. First up was the popular Filipino appetizer (which I consider a viand) the classic sisig with pita.   sisig The Reminisque chicken salad is just love! It got that kick of sweetness combined with the unique savory taste of chicken.   reminisque bistro (1 of 14) And just as what I’ve told, the kansi is just a big hit to the diners, and it is to me as well. Aside from what I’ve showed they also prepared other dishes like kare-kare, lengua, and yummy Kapampangan desert, tibuk-tibuk, to cap our dinner.
