Urban Flavors at Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons in Pasig City

A new mall has risen and residents and frequent visitors of Pasig city could be more excited to visit Estancia at Capitol Commons. Targeting mostly nearby residents and establishments, Estancia could be a perfect hub to enjoy dining and shopping without even going to far places like Makati or Taguig city.

Over 70 retailers and feature brands will be home at the new mall, Estancia, which means “to stay a while” is truly built to create an ambiance that will celebrate fashion, entertainment and off course, food.

And speaking of food, Estancia offers different dining options whether be inside or outside the mall.

Recently, I had a first look at the new hub last December 6, 2014, For a minimum fee of Php 500.00, I participated in the 4 day event called Urban Flavors. In a minimum fee, guests can be able to enjoy a taste (in small portions) of different restaurants house in Estancia while acoustic bands and top jazz artists performs through out the day.

Some of the participating restaurants and food stores includes the following; kimchi quesadilla, chap chae, and Korean beef patty from Grace Lee’s Eum-Ma-Ne, theres some Viatnamese foods from Ba Noi’s, or go Korean with Bap Bap; Pastries and Japanese staples from Jipan; prawn wanton in dandan sauce from Nomama; get crazy with Sisig tacos from Tipsy Pig; (Check out 7 Reasons to keep me coming back at Tipsy Pig Gastropub)

For snacks, desserts and light meal there are Breads from Starbucks; Cupcakes from Larcy’s; Pastries from Mary Grace; Cookies from Mrs. Fields; a choice of Coffee, cake or gelato from Caramia; and a cup of coffee from Craft.

And there are more which I haven’t had the chance to visit already because I’m already full, a total of around 20 restaurants to visit.

Is it worth the price?

Yes it is! Spending Php 500 for a taste of 20+ restaurants can already be satisfying. Actually, I didn’t had the chance to visit all the stalls because I’m already full with a few and decided to just take home some of it that I haven’t finish. If you’re a foodie and would want to have a taste of what these restaurant could offer, this could be perfect for you. I suggest for you to start early, eat, then rest, then eat again. Hehehe!

The last Urban Flavors event will take place this coming December 13 and 14, just visit the ground floor of Estancia at Capitol Commons anytime between 11am to 9pm. You can get a food pass at the designated booth (Near Caramia) and enjoy and indulge in the many gastronomic choices. It would be better to visit and do this food crawl along with friend.
