BLOGAPALOOZA (3 of 17)

I was exicited to attend the very famous Blogapalooza, it was a well talk about event that has been roaming around blogs and a lot are really looking forward to attending this event. As to my last check, around 450 bloggers are registered plus lots of companies are also participating, plus different seminars are also lined up one can surely learn a lot. This is also my chance to get to know more bloggers, and off course be of support to the companies that are also supporting blogger.

The Blogapalooza Event

I came at SM Aura at excatly 11 in the morning. It was a perfect timing to be one of the first bloggers to interact with the companies. I did came early for i’ll be having another event to attend to in the afternoon. And I felt that being early will give me more time to roam around and communicate more with selected companies I’m interested with.

On my arrival at the venue, I found familiar faces like the popular youtube personalities Bogart the Explorer & Mickey Bustos, TV5 the lifestyle guy Mr.  Philip and the founder of WheninManila, Mr.  Vince Golangco, having their picture taken at the photo wall.

It was just a small venue, or maybe it became smaller for it was packed with booths and people, as i’ve entered I found different companies lined up showing their products from corporate giveaways, food, personal services and even coats.

The Booths!

I guess they planned to arrange all the booths just right, that one bloggers should start at the first booth and end up eating a sumptuos lunch or “merienda” at the end of the tour. I listed here some of the booths that I found appealing and really cought up my attention. The more engaging they are, the more appealing it becomes to the bloggers.

The first booth, where they gave Eco Bag, perfect for lots of freebies a blogger could get from each of the booths for the day. Eagle’s Wings Ent. is one companies that supplies corporate giveaways, from pen, keychains, bag tag and the likes, Their staff at the booth has been very accommodative entertaining all the bloggers who came.

Mind Museum have their own guessing game, which I guess I felt really dumb answering it. Well maybe because it just so happen that the question i’ve picked was something I’m not familiar with. But nevertheless, It was a cool and engaging game aside from that the people from Mind Museum was so accomodating that they sometimes fully gave the answer to the question. (Nice!)

Do you have an idea to answer this question?

Next was the Grab-a-taxi booth, they have this fun game i do not know what it is called (lol!). Being top of the game will give you a chance to take home a Fujii Instax Mini which I personally is drooling to have one. Win or lose, they are giving away discount cards for you to use if ever your going to use the services and grab a taxi. Grab-a-Taxi was a great idea as a business that gave a more safer way to enjoy taxi services. Reserving will cost you an additional 70 peso fare added to the actuall rate of your taxi payment.

Megaworld Lifestyle booth was one of the eye-catching one, they have this wheel of fortune  game wherein no one (I think) will ever lose. The best price for me in this game was the cute plushy doll from LINE App.  Too bad I didnt win, but no worries I still got my free gift certificates from Megaworld Lifestyle Booth. If ever you didn’t got to win the plushly, they still gave a chance for you take home one just by taking a picture using the LINE app frame they have provided and putting it on Instagram. Well lucky enough this time, my entry have been picked as one of the winners! Hooraaay! Now I’m more excited!

Tino Suits has the honour of dressing some of the country’s elegant and fine men. Following thier long-time pursuit of developing supreme clothing bringing it into its highest level of quality. Upon registering one can have a bow tie from Tino Suits which I truly love and excited to wear really soon. I didn’t really have any idea about Tino Suits before but whoa when I asked how much a complete suit costs? But still I’m hoping to have one from them someday maybe they could sponsor me as well soon. (Cross fingers!)

Aside from the booths, once in a while there were seminars and small talks happening at the stage area. The seminars was hold by notable personalities and individuals who share thier experiences about online and social media practices. Thou the venue was a bit small for the crowd it was still a great event that was putted into. Aside from that, bloggers who join have also their chance to be part of those who have their share in helping the Yolanda/Haiyan victims. At the end, Blogaplaooza organisers,  have gathered an estimated of Php 80,000 that was donated and handed over World Vision. Kudos! for this wonderful move!
