A relief program for the students of Marikina will be conducted on Wednesday, 23 October 2013 at H. Bautista Elementary School at 10:00AM. Elementary students will be receiving school supplies, toys and other children’s items.

Spearheading the relief efforts will be His Excellency Ambassador Menashe Bar On and Marikina City Mayor Del De Guzman.

Israel conducted its last donation mission for the residents of Marikina on the 12th of September, at the Marikina Sports Complex together with Mayor de Guzman.

Judaism places the value of education as one of the most important aspects of life – which is shared with the Christian faith. Both beliefs express the need to teach to achieve the dreams of tomorrow and the building of a strong community.

Israel has taken part in many relief operations around the world, since its establishment. In the Philippines, Israel sent medical teams and donated relief goods during typhoon Ondoy (2009) and rains brought by “Habagat” (2012), respectively.
