Kanto Freestyle Breakfast Mandaluyong

Kanto Freestyle Breakfast is a unique Tapsihan concept that serves the very basic tapsilog (Tapa, Sinangag, Itlog) Longsilog (Longanisa, Sinangag, itlog) and the likes plus an additional flagship dishes like Waffles, Frech Toast, Churros that nobody ever thought of seeing it being serve in a place like this.

For an initial breakfast serving not more than PHP 90, plus the efficiency and friendly service offered, it’s definitely a worth to try place. The location might be a bit hidden but good thing people who have tried Kanto have spread the word and the experience of dining. No wonder, foodies and adventure seeker (who are mostly well-off) tend to locate the place even having difficulties.

There are so many Carinderia in the place that looks the same as this one, you might passed by and missed Kanto a lot of times, like I did.

The 24/7 tapsihan serves hearty and filling breakfast available all throughout the day. At first the owners said they were able to put tables on the street itself, but since it’s obviously a road block, they just settled by putting tables on the sidewalk and an additional tables located at their house nearby.

Kanto Freestyle RestaurantJust a stone-throw away, this area is intended for customers only 🙂

Ok so lets start the breakfast with one of my favorite, The Bacon, scrambled eggs, and toasts with butter plus a bit of syrup! I Just love the combination of the three. (Also Read: Breakfast Lifehacks)

Such a very sumptuous breakfast!

One of the staple in tapsihan are the ToSiLog, or Tocino, Sinangag at Itlog, The tocino came all the from Pampanga which is partnered with sliced of tomato that makes the serving more appetizing.

The Deep Fried Oreos is a bit new to me, according to the owner, this one need a special skill in cooking, making the oreo as filling and cooking it without even melting or destroying Oreo’s original form.

Look at that yummy feeling .. oh i mean Filling!

The pancake topped with Goya and chocnut ganache is perfect for choco-holics. I think this is one of thier original recipe or version.

My ultimate favorite, the 3-layer Mixed Berry Pancakes, that seems to catch the attention of every dinner in Kanto. Aside from the delicious taste, this dish will make you feel your eating in a fancy panake house

Just recently they opened up a new branch in Marikina to cater the market in the nearby area. It’s a surprise that the food they offer could be comparable or even better to a lot of restaurant that i’ve been too.

Kanto Freestyle Breakfast

If your near the place you are lucky to easily access Kanto, but if your out of the way, this could mean a bit of adventure! Kanto Freestyle Breakfast may give you the best food, but remember, its still on the street, you need to bear the heat, the smoke of the passing cars, the noise and other things within the area, but if you are on an adventure mode and will not mind all of this things and just wanted to savor delicious breakfast, then visit and have breakfast here at Kanto Freestyle.
