It’s Pizza, Pasta and Steaks at Marciano’s SM Southmall

Marciano's

Pizza? Checked!
Pasta? Checked!
Steaks? Checked!
It’s Marciano’s!

Now people in the south will have a chance to taste the great offerings of Marciano’s Pizza, Pasta and Steak!

At the recent grand opening of Marciano’s at SM Southmall, I got a chance to taste and picked some of the foods they offer from appetizers to the main course.

Marciano’s derived it’s name and was inspired from the Italian-American boxer named Rocky Marciano.  He was one of the greatest heavyweight champion on his time from 1952-1956. Marciano’s, the restaurant  features the great city of New York where early Italian immigrant settled. Thus having the result of Marciano’s cuisine inspired from Italian New york Dishes.

The casual dining restaurant’s interior have a cream brick walls with photos of classic films hanging on the wall. The kitchen has a glass walling where customers could see how thier foods are being prepared.

I had a chance to chat with the nice and successful couple Dondon and Marilyn Adao who owned the franchise of Marciano’s in SM Southmall. Ive’ learned that initially what they really planned to franchise was the sister brand of Marciano’s which is the Japaneses restaurant, Sumosam, but unfortunately a branch just recently open at SM Southmall. So instead of getting the Sumosam franchise, they were offered to try Marciano’s. And because Marilyn always love to eat Italian foods, after scrutinizing and carefully checking the brand, within just a week they finalizes to get the Marciano’s franchise.

And they weren’t wrong with the decision they made, after their soft opening last November 2012, people have been coming to and from just to try the one of the first Italian restaurant in the South.

I personally got to try some of the foods at Marciano’s, and the following are what I ‘ve ordered.

Tiffany’s Breaded Mozzarella
Donnie Brasco Calamari (Php 308)
Bronx Deviled Chicken (Half 398 / Whole 789)

[showmyads]

West Side Four Season (pepperoni, mushroom, seafood, four cheese | Php 479)
Marciano’s Signature (Php 289 | provolone cheese, prosciutto, caramelized walnuts and pears)
Bud Fox (150g) Php 358

Upon dining in Marciano’s one could have atleast 600-700 pesos on your pocket, their menu can go way up a 1000 pesos per serving. Well Italian cuisine really are usually a bit pricey, but here at Marciano’s, I could say that the price is just right, considering that per servings could already filled two hungry stomachs or even more.
