It’s Official! 163 Photoville International Members Inducted

We are official! Members of Photoville International

May 13, 2012, Mandaluyong City, Philippines: International Photo Club –Photoville International announces its 163 official members. The first batch consist not only local members but as well as photographers from other parts of the globe which includes West Cost, USA Chapter, SF Bay Area Chapter, Sacramento Chapter, Los Angeles Chapter. East Cost-USA Chapter, and UAE Chapter to name a few.

The momentous event started around 1 in the afternoon and was held atĀ PG-13 Pinoy Grill in Mandaluyong City. It was hosted by yours-truly, Rodel Flordeliz, being one of the proud and official first-batch-members of the club and a guest host from UNTV ch. 37’s Good Morning Kuya, Ms. Lyn Perez.

The 163 inducted members will act as group’s representatives to major events and projects covered by the club. PVI President Dominic Meily said to be qualified as Regular Members, they had to pass screening process conducted by the officers and advisers and to submit necessary requirements for formal membership.

The awarding of certificates of winners of the monthly contests from December 2011 to April this year was also included in the event. PVI Advisers also challenges the new members to join the May 2012 photo contest which will cover a topic about “Illustrating Climate Change“.

Award winning Photo Journalist – Francis Malasig (PVI Adviser) who suggested the May 2012 photo contest topic, challenges all the members to join the monthly contest.

Before the event ended, Mr. Meily led the oath taking ceremonies of the PVI Regular Members, including the officers and advisers. Each member received a Certificate of Regular Membership after taking their oath.
