JANUARY 2019: A New Beginning

January 2019 started slow but eventually build up before the month end. It was the kick off month on both work and personal life. It was the planning stage as well on taking the initial steps to fulfill the yearlong goals. In this month, big changes was introduced in my workplace that could really have a great effect on my blogging career.

Day 01 – New Year! Are you happy? 

It’s a bittersweet feeling for me as the year change. I felt sad that 2018 was already finish and also afraid to what 2019 was about to give. I also felt surprised that a year just pass by very quick. Nagmamadali lang? I still ain’t over it yet but time ticks and we all needed to continue and face 2019 head on.

Day 04 – Got a new haircut to kick ass this 2019!

DAY 06 – My friend Laiza just came back from Dubai and treated us dinner at Boiling Crabs and Shrimps! Ang Sarap! Babalik ako dito for sure!

DAY 07 – Our CEO, Kuya Daniel Razon, held a meeting for all the employees of the company, sending us both good and bad news regarding the company. Change is really happening.

Day 08 – It was my last taping day for the TV show THE FEED. It was a great 56 episodes! Can’t wait for it to be re-branded coming February.

Day 09 – A friend of mine stayed in the house for a while. I went home to deliver mom’s gift, What? (a new phone! And she’s happy!).

Day 10 – BMPI Orientation Day for Group 1 held at La Verdad Christian College. After the training, I went straight to S’Maison for the launch of Hard Rock Cafe.

Day 11 – Monster Milkshake Ayala Feliz Branch finally opened and I was happy that a few friends were able to drop by. Met a few new people as well at the event.

Day 12 – As a monthlong routine, every Saturday, I wake up at 4 in the morning to attend our weekly Thanksgiving. Today’s learning has something to do about the term “Last Days” in the Bible vis-a-vis to the comparison of the human days to His days.

Day 13 – Productivity at it’s finest by doing personal stuff all day long at the house.  And oh, started watching Netflix’ The Titans, and I’m hooked!

Day 14 – Monday and its back to work, I was able to finished some of my day goals today. Good Job!

Day 15Wish Music Awards 4th year was held in Araneta. I do not have a ticket so I decided to join the Centris team instead.

Day 16 – AirAsia brought bloggers and media friends to Tagaytay for the launch of the new Santan Inflight Menu (Read: What’s New at the Santan Inflight Menu)

Day 17 – Attended Clark Animo’s launch for their 10th Animo Run in Clark Global City. Ruth gave me a birthday gift – a Canon in D music box! Yay! (Read: Things you need to know: Clark Animo)

Day 18 – Finally back at Svelti for my monthly session. Watch Bumblebee on the big screen with Alan and baby Isaac.

Day 19 – Attended the Church Thanksgiving and learned new things about the events that are going to happen on the ‘one thousand years’. In the evening, I attended Myka Cloma and Michael Magno’s wedding at Hanging Gardens in Fairview. Saw old friends as well. It was a good day!

Day 20 – Joined a blood donation drive hosted by the ADD Foundation. I got scared that I would be disqualified, but I passed!

Day 23

Busy day: After work, I attended the event hosted by Honestbee at Yoga Hive, then met up with Bossing Ritchi Zamora.  Big news! Something is cooking! (Read: Honestbee’s Organic, Fresh & Healthy Category)

Day 24

The UNTV Kick off event was held in La Verdad Christian College in Apalit Pampanga. I was part of Group 2 and also represented the team to be part of the chosen 5. Unluckily, the chosen 5 was assigned to be the performers on the next day. We only have the whole afternoon to think of a concept and practice what ever we are about to perform.

Day 25

Second day of our Kick off event in Apalit, Pampanga. I was able to join the activities in the morning. In the afternoon, we showed what we prepared on the other day. We decided to do a Comedy Act with a short skit at the end. My only wish was to pull it off and make the audience laugh. Check out this short video I uploaded.

Attended an early event at Robinson’s Magnolia; the launch of Presotea‘s second branch.

Day 27

Right after our Thanksgiving event, I went home, pack my things and went straight to the airport for my early flight to Davao City. I regret doing so, for I didn’t realize that it was a Sunday, that traffic isn’t so bad on that day. Anyway, met Duane as early as 9am, we had breakfast, lunch and then went straight to Samal Island. Day 28

Exploring the Island of Samal started this day. From our hotel, La Vida Orchard, we went down south to visit destinations like, the old balete tree, Bluebird Viewing Deck, Sabang Cliff, and Kaputian beach. Then we went back north and visit Hagimit falls and Mango Haven’s kawa bath.  In the evening, we were back at the main island – Davao City, to have a unique Japanese dinner at Kaizen.

Day 29

Stayed in La Vida Orchard the rest of the morning and went back to Davao City in the afternoon. La Vida Orchard owner, Ninio was too kind to accompany as back to the mainland. We had lunch at Green Dinosaur and then stayed the rest of the afternoon in Yellow Hauz. Delayed flight, I was back in Manila at around 2 in the morning.

Back to reality, back at the office after my weekend ganap in Samal.
