The roar of engines and the spirit of unity filled KDR Adventure Camp in Orani, Bataan as hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts, industry partners, and tourism leaders gathered for the first Bataan Adventure MotoFest 2025, held on October 11–12, 2025.
The two-day celebration marked a milestone in Philippine motorcycle tourism, bringing together national and local leaders, including Senator JV Ejercito, Mr. Cesar R. Villanueva of the Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines, Arch. Antussa Santos of the Orani Tourism Office, and the representative of Major Jon Arizapa from the Municipality of Orani.
Sen. JV Ejercito: Championing Safer Roads and Rider Empowerment

Guest of honor Senator JV Ejercito, a staunch advocate for road safety and sustainable transport, inspired the crowd with his call for discipline, training, and responsibility among riders.
“I’m happy to see a growing community of riders who are passionate not only about riding but also about safety and discipline on the road,” said Sen. Ejercito. “Motorcycling is not just a lifestyle; it’s a responsibility — to yourself, to your passengers, and to others who share the road.”
He emphasized the importance of proper training and certification, commending initiatives like the International Riding Academy (IRA) for their commitment to establishing internationally aligned motorcycle safety programs.
“If we want to be known not just for our passion but for our professionalism, we must support institutions like IRA that train, certify, and uplift the standards of motorcycle education,” he added.
Tourism Leaders: Bataan as a Destination for Riders

In support of the event, Mr. Cesar R. Villanueva of the Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines highlighted the role of motorcycle tourism in promoting local destinations and strengthening community-based tourism initiatives.
Arch. Antussa Santos, representing the Orani Tourism Office, expressed pride in Orani’s growing reputation as an adventure destination and commended the event’s organizers for fostering unity among riders and local businesses.
Meanwhile, the representative of Major Jon Arizapa reaffirmed the local government’s full support for tourism events that promote camaraderie, economic growth, and safety awareness in Orani.
Coach Erwin Carpena and IRA: Building a Culture of Safe Adventure
Event head organizer Coach Erwin Carpena of MotorClyde International opened the festivities by recognizing the collaborative effort behind MotoFest.
“Behind every successful event like this are passionate people and dedicated organizations who share one vision — to unite riders, promote road safety, and celebrate the adventure lifestyle,” he said.
Representatives from the International Riding Academy (IRA) shared their mission of certifying riding instructors and leaders through structured, multi-level training programs that align with global standards.
“We want to professionalize instruction and make sure every rider is equipped — on the road, off-road, or on the track,” an IRA speaker noted.
Celebrating the Spirit of Adventure

Throughout the two days, participants enjoyed scenic ride loops, safety demos, local exhibits, and interactive booths featuring brands, rider groups, and Bataan’s own delicacies and crafts.
Organizers expressed gratitude for the overwhelming turnout and announced plans to make the Bataan Adventure MotoFest an annual event promoting tourism, road safety, and community connection.

“This is just the start of something grand and meaningful for our riding community,” said one organizer.
