Zenbook 13 Burgundy Red Ultraportability for Ultra Hardworking People

I have this thing for testing stuff to see if it would fit my lifestyle. With my vlog, photos that I post on my blog, typing away for my new post while binge-watching movies in between or traveling to some awesome destination, a laptop is a necessity. But no one wants to lug around a heavy laptop while on a trip, right? Good thing there are ultraportable laptops now which means they are ultrathin and just the right size. So the battle for ultra-portability is on for laptop manufacturers and so far ASUS claimed their laptop line is the world’s most compact laptop and I just had to try it out to see if it had the right specs packed in an ultralight case. Here’s what it turned out to be.

My work as a Digital Producer, blogger, and vlogger take me places be it in hotels, restaurants, events place, the beach, or anywhere I need to be for my blog. A big, bulky laptop is a no-no for me so when ASUS sent over a ZENBOOK 13 in Burgundy Red which is surprisingly ultra lightweight so I quickly checked the specs if it can handle everything I do. Here’s a quick rundown of the specs:

The weight and size at barely two kilos and a size smaller than an A4 size paper, it was very handy that I can slip it into any of my bags without bulging or ruining the form of my bag. The color and finish were on spot stylish with the ridges and burgundy hue. Now on to putting it to the test, the startup was quite fast for ZENBOOK 13 thanks to its processor, 8Gb RAM, and OS. The startup is crucial for me especially when I’m in a hurry to do quick tasks on a laptop.

As I’m always on the go, a laptop’s battery life is life more so if I’m in transit. I tapped away, did some layouts, photo edits and even tried editing a simple video. I was on the ZENBOOK 13 almost the whole day and the battery was good and had no notifications that it was running low nor prompts that I need to plug in.

In my previous review I mentioned how the Ergolift design and the NumPad made typing and working on the ZENBOOK 13 ultra comfy. Simple video editing jobs and photo editing can also be done with ASUS’ compact laptop. The HDMI port is also a good addition as previous laptop models don’t have HDMI ports which would make presentations a lot easier by letting you hook up the laptop to a large screen or a projector.
