August 2018 Journal #NognogintheCityDiaries

August 2018 is all about making TIME to those people who matters the most. As we grow older, we begin to understand the importance of it and try our best to spend it wisely. We tend to disconnect to people who we know would only waste our time and would give us full negativity. I realize, Life isn’t just about making a tower and guarding it on your own, but rather building a house that is open and ready to be shared to anyone who is willing to connect. Unnoticeably, I created small circles of friendships that became my support system to different fields in my life.

Day 01 – Svelt’i Visit + Date with Foodtrip Buddies

Friends Day out from August 1 to August 10 // Cinemalaya // Eto nAPO sila // Buybust // Watami // CBTL // Jem Cubil // Wish Jocks

How many times do you usually say “Thank you” to someone. Honestly, I am guilty of it. Appreciation is something that makes me awkward. I do not know but I grew up feeling it. So, I really appreciate people who does it without hesitation. On my day 1, Jem initiated to go out and have lunch and coffee with friends to just deliver a heart warming “Thanks.” I appreciate it bro.

Day 02 – Eto Na! Musikal nAPO

Watch “Eto na! Musikal nAPO” with Eddy at Maybank Performing Arts Theater. I was mesmerize hearing old music of APO turn into a musical play.

Day 03 – Digistar Photoshoot

Excited to be part of this new family! I am hoping that this will take my blogging career to the next level! Lets do it Digistar PH!

Day 04 – Date with Wish Jocks! / Buybust Movie Night!

It was the first time that all the Wish Jocks are almost complete (minus Robbin Nievera who was sick on this day). Wish jocks of Moonlight Wishes from Year 1 to 3 was also present. Good thing, Saturday was already an off for them at least they could manage to go out together once in a while. Thank you Chubs Chaser for hosting our meetup!

Day 05 – Cinemalaya 2018

It was a whole day of watching Cinemalaya Film with Eddy. On this day, we were able to watch 4 different films, which includes Distance, Kuya Wes, Liway and School Service.

Day 07 – The Lookout Gala Night

First time to see a film where close friends were the stars of it. Congrats Elle Ramirez and Lharby Policarpio for landing starring roles at the Cinemalaya Film – The Lookout.

Day 08 – CebPac flies to Melbourne

Went out just to be here at the Cebu Pacific launch of its flight to Melbourne. I can’t wait to visit Australia. Hoping Ceb Pac would fly us there soon.

Day 09 – Events Day

Dedicated this day to do a whole day event. My day started with the launch of Bluewater Day Spa in Banawe. I went there with Gus Villa and Ruth Dela Cruz.

I went out early to go to Makati to meet up with Yuki and the rest and have lunch at Watami. They serve us new dishes added to thier menu.

From Makati, I went to Burgos Circle to join CBTL’s meetup with the Tea Master. I was joined by Nick Ronquillo on this event.

Day 11 #MonsterMoments

The second Saturday of the month was spent mostly shooting new video campaign for Monster Milkshake. I wasn’t too happy with the result but we can only do much from what was already given. I just hope that the next one would be better. Thank you to all influencers who made it even it was hell raining on this day.

Day 14 – Night out with TM Buddies

Went all the way to SM Aura to meet up with my TM Buddies. We had dinner at Rackshack and watched Mission Impossible which won by 1 point thru voting. I was so eager to see Mamma Mia instead. Nevertheless, MI was an intense film to see.

Day 15-19 – Kadayawan Festival, Davao City

First time to witness Kadayawan Festival through the invitation of The Tourism Board of the Philippines. It was a tiring but fun 5-days of traveling around Davao City. I travel along with Aci, Ted, Enzo and Az. It was also awesome to meet new people in the industry. Hoping to do more of this soon.

Day 21 – Family Day

A day after my arrival, my parents along with my pamangkin, visited me in the house. I wasn’t able to join them for lunch for I also got a event to attend to. After picking up some stuff, I went straight to the launch of Yeah Yeah Chinese Cuisine in E. Rodriguez.

Day 23 – Tokyo Tokyo

A day before this event, I was able to visit DFA to finally renew my passport. Thank God for media lane, and the support of my company for giving me a letter of endorsement. On the 23rd, after visiting Svelt’i, I attended Tokyo Tokyo launch at Trinoma mall.

Day 24 – Saucony | Samgyupsal Night

After work, I decided to attend Saucony’s launch in Pioneer. There I met up with Rod and picked up Ford Everest which I would be using on the trip come Monday. It was my first time driving this huge vehicle, which we brought to Poblacion. We met up with Joel Quizon to have late dinner.

Day 25 – Jollibee Date with DAX

Woke up really early today just to have breakfast at Jollibee NLEX. Why NLEX, well, I guess it was the nearest Jollibee and meet-up point with my friends who were in Bulacan on that time. I barely had 3 hours of sleep on this day so right after test driving the Ford Everest I decided to go home and sleep the rest of the day.

Day 27-29 Roadtrip to San Juan La Union

Finally, after planning for almost a month, our roadtrip to La Union finally happened. I spent 3 full days with the gang where we just chill and spent most of the time chatting over night. Lucky that I was able to survive a 6-full hour drive from Manila to San Juan. It was my first doing so and I would like to thank Ford Philippines for making it easy on the road. Thanks to the crazies; Lharby, Elle, Ama, Keila, Rhea, Nick, Josh, Jaybee and Jeff for the fun memories.

Day 30 Rubie Gynn BDay WOD / Goyo

I felt bad that I wasn’t able to join the birthday celebration of Rubie Gynn and also declined her second invitation at Revel. Hence I said that on her BDay WOD (workout of the day), I would sure need to be there. Along with my Tao Tribe family, I experience a really crazy workout routine prepared by Rubie. It was 26 minute of 8 different routines which I was only able to do for 4 times. The other teams went up to 10 times. The workout was fun but also made my back ache for days. On this day, I also went out to watch ‘Goyo’ along with Japanese friend Akioh.

Day 31 Elle’s Birthday Salubong
