A pasta, pizza or gelato fix at Giulia Manila, SM North EDSA

Giulia Manila opens its very first store at SM North EDSA

It wasn’t too long ago since I’ve visited this sight at SM North EDSA the block. It was an italian restaurant before that was called Casa Italia (read: Having Gelato at Casa Italia). If you are a fan of the brand, do not be shock, for Casa Italia isn’t really gone, but instead the famous restaurant decided to create a new brand that would cater to the right market in the area.

Giulia Manila opens its very first store at SM North EDSA last November 30, 2017 and I was able to dine in to the place. Giulia Manila is such an overhaul from the former resturant, having  a more inviting and well lighted ambiance.

Of course, our favorite Gelato from Casa Italia is still available at this new restaurant serving more flavors as we can imagine.

And because I have the feeling of having a food coma on my visit, I decided to tag along friends with me to share and enjoy the sumptuous lunch they have prepared.

Friends from Wish 107.5 – DJ Alice, DJ Faye & Pearly Sheng lol! Jem san ka?

When we arrived, the place was already full with people, It only means that the demand of having this kind of restaurant is really high in the place (specially during lunch). Also, people are already lining up for the promo they had from 1-5pm on that day, where a gelato cup was sold for only Php 11.

Giulia Manila menu is a bit different from the previous restaurant for aside from Italian cuisines, they have also widen up their menu by incorporating western dishes.

As I was told, they are still on the works of creating additional dishes so expect more on your visit.

On our lunch , we had marina pasta, this pork dish (we all love), we had their famous thin crust pizza, poutine and of course we had gelato for the endings. I am very sorry I forgot the names of the dishes but do check out the pictures maybe on your visit you can help me figure out what we had.

My favorite among the ones serve was the pork dish next was the poutine which is kind of spicy as well. The chicken was so huge it can already be shared to two person. Actually most of the servings are really generous that two people can enjoy and share a dish. I know what we ordered was just a few but it was already too many for 4 person to share.

If you area around the corner, do visit Giulia Manila located at the lower ground floor of SM North the Block. And oh, do not missed not to taste the gelatos!

Until our next discovery in the City!
