Opened at the ground floor of The Block, SM North EDSA are Osaka Ohsho’s second brand and Kumori Japanese Bakery’s first full scale concept, aptly named Café Kumori.

Osaka Ohsho, The King of Gyoza

Known to be the king of gyoza, Osaka Ohsho, opened its flagship store in 2014, much to the delight of every Japanese food-loving Filipino. Now, with 2 years under its belt and a whole lot of raving customers, Osaka Ohsho opened its second brand to bring the goodness of gyoza straight from Osaka, Japan closer to the hearts (and palates) of every Northern Foodie.

Bringing in fresh, clean and modern interiors, Osaka Ohsho is such an eye-catching place that could satisfy one’s Japanese cravings! On my visit I got to taste signature items such as crispy chicken Karaage (Japanese fried Chicken), mabo Tofu, Crab Cream Croquettes, the Black Vinegar Chicken, Ebi Chili, and the signature gyoza available in 5 unique flavors – original, bacon, and cheese, nori, kimchi and Japanese curry. I personally like the Japanese curry flavor!

Baked on site by skilled bakers, customers would be guaranteed to partake in only the freshest products made with the hightest quality, natural and wholesome ingredients.

The place is so inviting having a warm lights, clean Japanese accents and modern fixtures, the modern Japanese interiors are made complete with interesting memorabilia and portritans tracing Kumori’s roots in Nagoya Japan.

On my visit, I got to tastes their signature Hanjuku Cheese, Saku-Saku, Caramel Crunch, Krone, Cottage Cheese and their unique beverages like Japanese Sweetcorn Milkshare, Choco Hazelnut Milkshake and the Matcha Milkshake.
