Three Reasons to visit Mr. Pizza, Philippines

Pizza is something that I do not include in my go-to-food list specially when I need to satisfy cravings. I’m more of  a rice-person, I could say. But there’s always an exception to the rule, right? If its thin crust, its tasty and extraordinary, I would definitely consider.

Recently, the number one pizza chain in Korea, Mr. Pizza, just opened  their first store in the Philippines. Located at Ground Floor of Greenbelt 3, just beside Seattle’s Best Coffee. This 120-seater restaurant provides a cozy ambiance to everyone who’s up for having good food and great bonding with family and friends.

MR PIZZA GREENBELT

Here in the Philippines if their is something new and people are talking about it, it will definitely be a hit. And with a gimmick presented by Mr. Pizza at their opening, I will not be shocked if this pizza place would become a word of mouth to Filipino patrons.

But why should you visit Mr. Pizza? What could be the possible reason to drive you inside this casual dining restaurant. I listed down three reasons that will tickle your hunger pangs.

1. Too Sweet to Ignore

Pizza usually tastes salty or spicy but have you tried sweet tasting Pizza? Aside from the well trained staff, Mr. Pizza got something for your sweet tooth! Bound by the 300% principle, Mr. Pizza promises to give a pizza that is 100% kneaded, 100% full-hearted topping, and 100% grill-baked. Strategically positioned at the center of the restaurant, you get to see how your pizza is kneaded and made right in front of you.

Most of the Pizza I’ve tasted are sweet or if not unique tasting, something that I haven’t tasted before here in the Philippines. One example is the Shrimp Gold with Cheddarella crust, it got a sweet taste and I love how generous they are in putting in whole shrimps in it. Another one is their alternative for desserts, The Sweety Pizza that smells like a peach mango pie with sweet potato toppings that adds texture to this unusual pizza flavor.

2. Authentic Korean Pizza

Remember, what I’ve said awhile ago, this Pizza chain is the number one pizza house in Korea. And with that kind of prestige, for sure they would carry on what they started in Korea. So expect to taste an authentic Korean Pizza. On my visit, I saw lots of Korean chefs and staff. One of the staff to tend to our need is a Korean, so I guess bring a pocketful of English to converse with them.

3. The Dream Team

Gimmickry? They have it! People from the press, bloggers, and everyone in Greenbelt were treated to an amazing pizza dough tossing exhibition presented by the two-time champions in the World Pizza Games and a Guinness World Record holder for the most number of dough toss over the shoulder, Dream Team. It was my first time to see and heard about this kind of activity/competition, and I hope they would show it in the store once in a while. Check out the video I’ve recorder below.

If that would not be enough, just visit and see for your self, you might probably find something interesting at the place.

You can also try the following as suggested by our Korean server:  Potato Gold (Regular: P630/P730 Gold Crust, Large: P830/P930 Gold Crust), Eggta (Regular: P800/P900 Egg Tart, Large: P980/P1,080 Egg Tart), and Macho Grande (Regular: P630/P730 Mocha Bun, Large: P830/P930 Mocha Bun)
