- Longanisa Meal – Eating breakfast at McDonald’s has been my daily morning routine when I was still working in Ortigas, and my favourite? The Longanisa Meal coupled with a cup of coffee, a Pancake meal comes second.
- Free Wi-Fi Connections – almost all popular coffeeshops now created a restrictions on their Wi-Fi connections, but in McDonald’s, its still free!!!
- Happy Meal – I am not a collector, but enthusiast is always been so excited to know whats new inside their happy meal, my nieces love it to.
- 8McDo – sit back and relax at the comfort of your home while waiting for your order using their online or mobile app – 8McDo.
- 24 hours open – Extending the hours to cater more clients. If your on the road, grab a bite anytime at the many Mc Donald’s branches.
- Tap and Go using MasterCard PayPass – The newest reason why I keep on coming back to McDonald’s is the addition of their newest services where you can just Tap and Go using your MasterCard PayPass.

McDonald’s recently announced its acceptance of MasterCard PayPass in the Philippines at McDonald’s Greenhills. I got the privilege to be one of the first to try it and to show how fast and convenient it is to order at McDonald’s with MasterCard PayPass, MasterCard invited none other than Philippine Azkals football players Phil and James Younghusband and Simon and Chris Greatwich, as well as TV host Ginger Conejero.

Using your MasterCard PayPass, McDonald’s customers can conveniently pay for dine-in, take-out, and even drive–thru transactions. This payment aims for better customer experience by reducing payment service time in a safe and more convenient way. This could be suited specially for people who are always on a hurry, which I am guilty of as well.
MasterCard PayPass is a fast, safe and smart payment technology from the world’s leader in contactless payment solutions. Customers can do transactions now without having to enter a PIN or sign a receipt through the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology that ensures secure payments, simply tap your MasterCard PayPass-enabled card on a PayPass-enabled reader or terminal.
MasterCard PayPass has been very useful for the footballers as they frequently use it on their travels in London and their stay in Australia. This comes as no surprise, as MasterCard or Maestro PayPass cards or devices are accepted at over 2.8 million merchant locations in 67 countries around the world.

Currently, close to 30 McDonald’s restaurant in Metro Manila are now equipped with a terminal to accept contactless card payments from MasterCard PayPass and other accredited cards.

This 2015, more restaurants both in Metro Manila and provincial areas will be equipped with this technology. Customers can also look forward to contactless payment in Drive-Thru counters and McDelivery. With the speed and convenience it brings, MasterCard PayPass is a perfect addition to the McDonald’s experience.
