Cesar Montano reach the finals in a Songwriting Competition (ASOP Music Festival Year 3)

Veteran Actor and Director, Cesar Montano climb his way up to the Grand Finals of A Song of Praise or ASOP Music Festival year 3 with his composition “Sa Awit Kong ito“.

Having been in the entertainment industry for a very long time, Cesar finally made one of his dream to come true by doing a song composition and a bonus of a chance of winning Php 500,000 on the grand finals.

With the rendition of band vocalist Mcoy Fundales, the song composition got the attention of the panel of judges namely, Dingdong Avanzado, Sheryl Cruz and Mon del Rosario.

Proud of his composition, Cesar expresses his thanks to the Almighty. “Ito naman is malaking bagay sa’kin ‘to kasi hindi naman ako Cesar Montano, I’m nobody before God.  I’m nobody.  Everything I have right now is lahat galing lang naman sa Kanya kaya wala akong maipagmamalaki.  Kaya nga ko sumali dito, ‘yun nga ang unang-unang dahilan ko kaya ako sumali dito because it’s about praising God.

Cesar Montano’s composition “Sa Awit Kong Ito” will be included in the commemorative album of ASOP Year 3 Finals.

A Song of Praise Music Festival Year 3 Finals will be held on Smart Araneta Coliseum on September 23, 2014, 7pm.
