✪ Yes! As early as March I crossed out another goal from my 2014 goal list! This is definitely an achievement! Running for a 21k half marathon.
The RUN UNITED RUN RIO TRILOGY 1 is its in 5th event held a few weeks ago at SM MOA ground. With category that includes 5km, 10km and lastly the 21km, which fellow bloggers and I have conquered!
It was a sudden decision to join, thanks to my good friend, Paul, for considering me too. That is why before the event, I decided to do a practice run in the village ground. And because It was my comeback run, the practice made my leg muscle aches at the event proper. But that didn’t hinder me to run anyway.
With just an hour of sleep, I woke up at 2am, prepare then headed to the meeting place to meet Paul before going to the venue. We arrived a bit late actually, the run started when we came, but it was just fine, the important goal for us is to start the run and finish it with the determination to never give up! And off course without having any casualties too!
It was a very tiring run but very fulfilling, especially at the moment when I was just a few kilometres near the finish line.
21k finishers received a shirt and a very big medal. I’m so proud of myself, and proud to my friends too and to all the finishers.
