New World Makati Hotel reaches another milestone as it embraces the most popular and effective social media platforms to actively communicate with the world. With an increase of around 6,000 likes for just a month (7,500 likes to date), New World Makati Hotel’s Facebook Fan Page has become an avenue for sharing the hotel’s latest news, promotions and offerings.

With the fast rise of fan page like, New World Makati Hotel decided to gets viral with its launch of two apps that is geared towards providing a more interactive and personal connections to it’s guest and future customers.

New World Hotels “In Touch” Facebook App

The “In Touch” Facebook app gives everyone fast and easy access to the hotel’s front liners. All are invited to send messages, inquiries, and other concerns to significant representatives from various areas of the hotel.

This app is actually their way to further enhance thier service to the hotels client. Mr. Farid Shoucair, New World Hotel’s General Manager, presented the application telling the audience the purpose and potential advantage of creating this kind of application.

Upon using this app, one could directly communicate to the following hotel front liners;  New World Makati Hotel’s General Manager Farid Shoucair, Resident Manager Eddy Sarton, Director of Sales & Marketing Jann Delgado, Director of Communications Nini Icban, Director of Rooms Joy Barleta, Director of Food & Beverage Paawan Engineer, Director of Human Resources Geuel Auste, and Club Epicure.

#IHeartNewWorld Photo Sharing Contest

With the popularity of hash-tagging, New World Makati Hotel likewise sparks creativity with the #IHeartNewWorld Photo Sharing Contest in Instagram.

Interested individual would just simply have to visit the nominated area and create the most ingenous photo while doing the “I Heart” pose, posting it in Instagram or facebook with the hashtag #IHeartNewWorld. Two elements should always be present in your photo to qualify, the “I Heart” pose and the official logo of New World Hotel which is actually a Mulberry fruit.

The weekly contest will be having its cut-off strictly every Sunday at 11:59 pm. The weekly winner will receive awesome prizes and/or other giveaways from the hotel. Once the competition has come to an end on August 21, 2013, a grand prize winner will be selected among the weekly winners who will have the luxury of staying at the newly-renovated Residence Club.

Criteria for the winning photo will be 40% number of likes on Facebook and 60% creativity. The panel of judges consist of the hotel’s executive committee and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representatives.
