Baking Chocolate Banana Cupcakes

Cupcakes has always been a perfect pair with a cup of chocolate or coffee. But creating and baking your own cupcake could be considered in next level!

baking

I had a chance to try out and create a very simple recipe but offcourse with the help of an expert.  Should i call it inside Nognog’s Kitchen, will be making a recipe from Cookie Blossoms called Chocolate Banana Cupcakes.

Cookie Blossoms is a home based business from Paranaque City that speciallizes cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies and even flower arrangements. Owned and operated by Ms. Roselyn, it has been existing since 2001.

baking

Every Cookie Blossoms product is lovingly created by hand. Flowers and foliage that go into every arrangement are selected carefully as well. According to Ms. Roselyn, the gourmet treats are products they want to eat that is why they don’t skimp on ingredients. They only use real butter, imported chocolate, real vanilla, imported cream cheese and other natural and premium ingredients to produce quality, great tasting desserts and confections. And to ensure freshness, all goodies are made from scratch and prepared as ordered.

With the help of the owner Ms. Roselyn of Cookie Blossoms, will be sharing to you the ingredients and simple steps of the recipe;

Ingredients:

1 c all purpose flour

1 c white sugar

1/3 c cocoa powder

3/4 tsp baking soda

3/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 egg

1/2 c banana, mashed

1/2 c water

1/4 c oil

1/4 c milk

3/4 tsp vanilla extract

Simplified Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 12 regular-sized muffin cups with paper liners.

2. In a large bowl whisk together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In another large bowl, whisk together the egg, mashed banana, water, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Pour or scoop the batter into the muffin cups and bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

4. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.

In baking always be meticulous with measurement because any inadequate measuring could affect the taste of the final product. To make our Chocolate Banana Cupcake more tasty we will be making the Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache frosting here are the ingredients;

1/3 c peanut butter

1/4 c heavy cream

1 tsp butter

1/2 c chocolate chips

Melt all ingredients over low heat. Mix until smooth. Use to frost cupcakes.
