The Venetian Night Market in Venice Piazza in Mckinely Hill

Awesomeness! That’s what I felt every time I get invited in a gathering of selected shops offering only the best food!

Venice Piazza at Mckinely Hill in Fort Bonifacio presents The Venetian Market, an extravagant showcase of flavors from Spain, Italy and the Mediterranean. A one of a kind marketplace that will let foodies experience several sections of culinary paradise.

Bearing the Media Seal, I was given the privilege to taste some of the foods in the seven section of the Venetian Market.

The Cold Cuts Section, which includes Deli Meats, Cheeses and Seafood’s (Belcap | Dinelli Gourmet | Red Crab | Mac’s Deli). Frying, Grilling and Rotisserie where located at the Savory Section. This includes Old Vine, Greeks Shawarma, Reyes Barbecue, Cheese Steak Shop, Carlo’s Kitchen, Sauceria Restaurant, Wursty Wursty, Chef Resty’s Roast Beef Carving Station, Isa’s Mongolian and Manang’s Chicken.

German Sausages!
Wursty Wursty is located outside the tent.
Carlos Kitchen’s Crunchy Belly

The Pizza and Pasta section fills my stomach with the likes of Cucina Rusticana, Focaccia Restaurant, Sauceria Restaurant, House of Lasagna and Chicago Pizza.

Dolcelatte Cookies are delicious, perfect with a cup of coffee!

Gelato Ice cream is becoming a new craze in the high end ice cream market. And when we talk about authenticity and taste, Sol Gelato can be consider as one of the top competitors. The owner, Mr. Kennent Lim have been very accommodative to entertain media and tell his story behind this delicious Gelato’s. Thou operating Sol Gelato have always been a sideline for him, his passion in creating ice cream could be credited to the business upcoming success.

Pick one or pick all!
My personal favorite! Ohh Mango! You’ll definitely agree with me when you tasted it!

For light and easy meals the Gourmet Snacks Section could be the perfect place for you. (Dolors Kakanin, Thai at Silk, Ramen Bar, East 38)

Unique items could also be found at the market including this Bottled Cocktail Drinks
Bottella is a Filipino ingenuity with flavors like Mojito, Tiramisu, Classic Margarita, Coco Lychee, Cosmopolitan, Tequila Sunrise, kamikaze, Illusion, Amaretto Sour and Skittles.

You’ll definitely have a full stomach roaming around the area.  Even though it was an air-conditioned place, we could still feel the heat, as the organizers didn’t really expect the bulk numbers of visitors wanting to experience eating the European style. I’ve even heard that some of the storeowners already refilled their food trays as early as 9 in the evening. It was really a busy night!

Don’t you worry; there will be more upcoming schedules. The Venetian Market will open from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the following dates:

  • May 25 & 26
  • June 1 & 2
  • June 22 & 23
  • July 20 & 21

Food + Ambiance = great experience! And the best of all, there’s no entrance fee! Dine and enjoy in European Style!
