Famous brand Shakeaway from UK opens its newest branch here in the Philippines.
The love of Filipinos of embracing new concepts and localizing it has been a trend already. Having this kind of thinking and through discovering new products that are not yet available here, Chan Sisters, got this idea of bringing an International brand and incorporating our very own local flavors.
The famous Shakeaway milkshake brand recently opened its newest store at U.P Town Center. I was able to be one of the lucky people who have tasted it here for the very first time. (Read: Alternative way to U.P. Town Center)

For those who haven’t heard, Shakeaway is the world’s largest milkshake bar company and the original re-inventor of the milkshake since 1993. It was born in the UK with over 50 stores worldwide. They have invented a phenomenon that is growing throughout the world with their amazing menu of over 180 different fantastic ingredients. Some of it includes M&Ms, Kitkat, chocolate muffin, Nutella, tiramisu, banana, skittles, Oreo Cookies, Wonka Nerds and luxury chocolate Lindt to create millions of wonderful Milkshake combinations.
First branch opens November 25, 2016!
Here in the Philippines, the Chan sisters have develop a way to incorporate the likes of Butter Ball, Choc Nut, and other Philippine local delicacies. It was actually fun looking at the counter seeing different items you can mix and match to create a new flavor.

The milkshake flavors are also split into various categories ranging from fruity to chocolatey, cakey to biscuity, sweet to soda and everything else in between.

Also Shakeaway has re-invented frozen yogurts, smoothies, all natural shaved ice, and low fat fries which I actually like dipping in the milkshake, You should try it!
Surprise inside the cup!
At the launch, I ordered a Casey which has chocolate crinkles, nestle crunch and whipped cream. I love the taste, though it become super chocolaty as you go deep scooping it using the specialized straw with a spoon at the end. The good thing about it nothing is left over.
