Everyone, meet Ferrari Man in Red.
I recently got hold of this perfume that “celebrates all that is thrilling about Ferrari” and today I am telling you exactly what I think about it by answering five questions everyone should ask themselves before buying a new fragrance.
1. Does it smell good?
Probably the most important question of all. If you look up Ferrari Man in Red online, you’ll see that its notes include bergamot, apple, cardamom, plum, orange blossom, lavandin, cedar, tonka bean and labdanum. But I mean—who really understands what those mean, yeah? So it really boils to this question, and the answer is “a sweet resounding absolutely yes”. It smells amazing. It’s a bit fruity, which I really like, and not over empowering.
2. Can I wear it every day?
Again, the answer is absolutely yes. Ferrari Man in Red is sweet and is not an intimidating scent, although you can tell that it’s also not for those who are afraid of standing out (I mean, just check out the bottle. That alone tells you that this is no scent for boys).
3. Is it for everyone?
Like I said, this scent is not for boys; it’s for men! Ferrari Man in Red is bold and intense and very masculine—much like Ferrari the car (although it skips the refinement of Ferrari’s other fragrances). This fragrance is for men who are very adventurous, passionate and goal-driven. They know what they want, they work hard to get it and they are not afraid of failure. For them, failure is just another hurdle they need to overcome to arrive at their destination.
4. Does the scent last?
It’s eau de toilette, which means that its concentration is pretty high. The unfurling of the notes could take somewhere between two to four hours to be completed, so you only need to reapply once or twice a day.

5. Is it worth the price?
Ferrari Man in Red comes in two sizes – 50ml bottle and 100ml bottle. And yes, they are very much worth the price because each one comes with a set of grooming products that smell the same as the perfume, including a shower gel, deodorant and aftershave lotion.
My final verdict? Go get the fragrance now.
