34 Going on 32 (hopefully)

Ladies and gentlemen, today I embark on a journey—a journey to trim down my waist by two inches that is.

Before anything else, please allow me to clarify a few things: First, I am not young. I am already thirty something (No, I will not disclose my real age here) and thus, my metabolism is not as good as it used to be. Second, I am not doing this only because it’s summer and I want to flaunt perfectly sculpted abs on the beach…or at least not for that reason alone. I am doing this because I want to prove a point—that if you work really hard and remain focus, weight loss is very much achievable, even for a matakaw like me. And lastly, yes, I know that 34 is not really a bad waistline, but for my height and body type, 34 actually means having a tummy that protrudes.

My Slim Yerba Drink (6 of 17)

Now, on to my waist trimming program. Here are the things I am planning on doing to achieve my two inch tummy reduction:

  1. Do more cardio– This essentially means converting hours wasted stalking people on Facebook to activities that actually contribute to me achieving my goal.

  1. Stop (or at least reduce) rice intake– A lot of my celebrity friends swear by this. Perhaps, I should start listening to them?

  1. Flawless Nano RF– Every little bit helps, right? And personally, I don’t see anything wrong with turning to science for non-invasive solutions that can help you get rid of fat in hard to target areas. I especially like this procedure as it has no downtime and works by blasting fat cells that are under the dermis (a.k.a. the ones that really contribute to your bulking up).
  1. Bettys Corset – Well, yes you read it right, corset! A friend of mine introduced me to Bettys corset a few years ago. And contrary to what you might think, their corsets backed up by science. The forms and sizes offered by Bettys help people correct their posture and curb hunger by supressing the tummy just enough so that it does not do any damage. I started wearing mine again the other day and I seriously think it’s one of the reasons why I feel great today!
  1. MySlim Yerba Mate Drink– This one, my friends swear by, so I’m giving it a try. MySlim Yerba Mate Drink comes in three different forms: tablet, sachet and ready to drink. I personally prefer the last one due to its simplicity and the fact that it tastes nice. According to my research, the thing that makes MySlim work are the three major ingredients (Palatinose, Carnipure and Finomate/EFLA920) that work extra hard to detoxify the body and get rid of unwanted fats without causing the drinker to lose energy. Oh! And it’s also sugar free!

MySlim is available at all Mercury Drug, Southstar Drug, Watsons, 711, Robinsons Supermarket, Rose Pharmacy and St. Joseph Drugstore nationwide. A ready to drink bottle costs Php 89 while the sachet (which you mix with cold water) is only P69. Experts recommend you take it only every other day or three times a week and not more than that, unless you want to live inside your bathroom for the entire week.

So to round it up, I am trying to trim down my waist from 34 to 32 by doing more cardio, eating less or no rice, undergoing radio frequency treatment, wearing a corset and taking a slimming drink about three times a week. Got anything you want to add to my list? Feel free to tell me on the comment section below. More photos here.
