Crazy Outdoor Adventure just an hour & a half away from Quezon City! Find out here!

✪ I always love experiencing new adventure, this is were I usually learn something, meet new people, or challenge my self to the next level of a better me.

A few weeks ago I was introduce to this newest outdoor fun experience up in the north called Sandbox. I actually don’t have an idea at first, I was given a thought that it was somehow a playground for kids. But it was way different from what I have expected when I arrive at the place.

sandbox

Sandbox is the newest unique summer getaway that redefines outdoor fun in the vast terrain of Porac, Pampanga. Sandbox is located in the new Alviera township development, officially opens last April 12. The place is created by Ayala Land Inc., in partnership with Leonio Land.

My Ultimate jumpshot! hehehe

We arrive at the place before lunch, had breakfast and started the fun! I actually decided to try everything that is available and was hoping to experience everything. First stop is the challenge to climb the 15-meters wall climbing at the so called Adventure tower.  It was funny that I wasn’t really prepared in doing an outdoor adventure. ヅ

After the wall climbing, Paul and I tried rappelling, which i think is a much easier than the wall climbing, all you need to conquer is the fear of hanging.  Theres also a free fall portion in that tower which i didn’t try, I don’t actually like the feeling of the free fall, pakiramadam ko nagpapakamatay ako pag ginawa ko yun!  ヅ

Next on my list is to try the Atv or mini-atv rides, it just so happend that there was a long que, so i decided to try the aerial walk instead. I just love this kind of activities, doing physical challenges.

The aerial walk was fun, specially if your doing it with a fewer people, traffic usually build up sometimes. Like what had happen to me, and because I’m a bit impatient, I decided to the the shortcut.

Unfortunately, we need to go home at 1pm, I didn’t had the chance to try everything, but I’m looking forward on trying them all, except for the free fall, very soon. Maybe some time, i’ll make sure to tag my friends along and that could be more exciting.

Sandbox

By the way aside from those  I tried, there are still lots of things one can do at Sandbox. One major attraction is the Giant Swing, the Philippines tallest swing at 10-meters high. The Giant swing takes up to two adult riders high into the air for an unforgettable and exhilarating swing.

Another high-flying experience comes from the Avatar One Roller Coaster Zipline, the ride that takes one zipping down roller coaster style 180-meters down. The venue also sports an open field where you can play frisbee, RC planes and car activities. The open field also feature kite-flying and kite- making workshops this summer.

Summer na Summer ang feel! thou there are a few covered places so do put on sunblock.

Kids can also enjoy Sandbox, theres a themed kiddie playground with picnic areas, mini-golf and camping sites. Will be posting a video soon once i’ve finished the edit. 🙂

The Sandbox is open from Tuesdays to Suturdays9am to 5pm. For booking guidelines, visit the Alviera website at www.alviera.ph and on www.facebook.com/alvieraPH.  ♣
