Malaysian Brand – Freedom by Eric Choong

✪ “Freedom by Eric Choong”, a collaboration between Malaysian fashion designer Eric Choong and F.M.S (Freedom Men’s Style), is a ready-to-wear menswear line. Despite having been in the fashion industry for over two decades, “Freedom by Eric Choong”, which was launched in 2012, is Eric’s first foray into ready-to-wear menswear.

Staying true to Eric’s and F.M.S’s philosophy of individuality and modernism, Freedom by Eric Choong pushes traditional men’s wear to new boundaries of polished individualism and attitude with a touch of retro-ism, and is designed to be versatile yet aesthetically urban to be worn for any occasion – be it as casual wear, formal wear, or work wear.

I got the chance to visit thier booth at the recent Manila Fame held at SMX. It was an amazing collection that let me drool over and check out each piece. It would be great if this brand will also be brought here in the country. The printed collection is definitely one of the best one I’ve seen. Here are some of the pieces I love the most and I think would be suited for me to wear.

  • […] The above the knee Floral shorts from Mundo was actually perfect with a white top in either shorts or long-sleeves. Having a plain tops highlights the detail of your lower wear. But off course if you are somehow a bit bolder and wilder than me, from the basic white plain polo you could go on to a more louder colours or  prints that would perfectly compliment the whole attire.
