Tapping that mass market, TECNO Mobile just recently release the Pouvoir 4 that features an enormous 6000mAH battery. A premium unit from the TECNO Mobile line, Pouvoir 4 just gives us a long-lasting battery life, a decent 13 MP AI Quad Camera, and a huge 7-inch HD+ Drop Display offering 90.55% screen ratio.
I guess, TECNO Mobile did really good research on giving a solution to the current need. With the current pandemic, where all are forced to stay at home but still continue life through work and study, using a very dependable unit that could deliver is just something we all need.
Let me give you some of the notable things I love about the new Pouvoir 4.
Let us start with its aesthetics. Pouvoir 4 comes with a blue and green box. Inside you will see the huge 7” HD smartphone. It comes with a jelly case, warranty card, screen protector, power adaptor, USB cable, sim ejector, and earphone.
What I got is the Ice Jadeite color. It is somehow dark blue-green with a vignette. Taking a closer look at the back design, you’ll see that fingerprint-ish design which I honestly like. The brand and unit name is also embossed at the back. The quad-camera is located at the upper left corner while a fingerprint sensor can be found in the center.
The power button as well as the volume rocker is located on the right side while the sim card slot along with the red button is on the left side. I actually love that little detail of making the button red. I actually thought at first that it was the power button, but this red button actually acts as the google assistant button.
The Tecno Mobile Pouvoir 4 is coined as the “The Energy King” for the very reason that it got a massive 6000mah battery. With this enormous battery, it is capable of powering the phone up to four days straight on a single charge. You can enjoy 792 minutes of movie time, 516 minutes of video recording, and 638 minutes of action-packed gaming. And with the high demand of smartphones being used for schooling and work, having a battery life like this is definitely an advantage.
But the battery isn’t just what the Pouvoir 4 can offer. Did I mention that it also equipped with a 13MP AI Quad camera, two 2MP cameras, and an AI lens at the rear, and an 8MP dual flash camera at the front. Here are some photo samples I took using Pouvoir 4.
The camera got 6 different features: Video, AI cam, Beauty, Bokeh, AR Shot and Panorama. The smartphone can actually shoot decent video but got a slow focus shift especially when shooting from well-lit to dim place. A stabilizer would also be needed especially if you decide to used it as a vlog camera. I guess one of the things I love about the video camera was how clear it captures the audio surroundings and my voice. Will try more of it soon.
Beauty shots can be adjusted from 1 to 6, portrait photos got a decent bokeh and oh I truly enjoy the AR shot which is a special function of Pouvoir 4 where you can pick different filters to improve your photos and videos. It also got two LED lights that you can activate to make your portrait shots looks like it was taken by a pro.
If given a chance to pick only one unit to use for movie viewing, I would definitely pick the Pouvoir 4 among the phones that I have on my table. Placing it side by side with the other units, one would definitely enjoy watching your favorite Netflix series on its huge 7-inch HD+ Drop Display with 90.55% screen ratio.
The unit is very easy to navigate. If you are a long time android phone user, it would be a breeze transferring to this new phone. A few things that you would notice that make it different from other android units includes the so-called Smart panel or simply the sidebar where you can add tools as well as frequently used app for easy access.
The unit also has the capability to cast on connected devices. It has a special function called Social Turbo which is a service dedicated to enhancing the experience of WhatsApp users and other message apps globally.
