It’s city center is located at Peñaplata where you could find shops, restaurants and other things you might be needing on your stay.

Commuting from Davao to Samal island

Commuting to the island is really easy and with boat transfers that run for 24 hours, you wouldn’t have a problem if ever your flight got delayed and/or you decided to do your errands very late within Davao City.

If you are planning to visit the island, here is a simple commute guide you can used especially if it would be your first time in this place.

If you are planning to do a tay tour in the Island, getting a habal-habal ride and/or renting a tricycle when you arrive at the Samal Ferry Terminal would be okay, especially if you already know where you are going. The whole island is really easy to navigate but it is suggested to stay for two to three days to have a really relaxing stay at the Samal Island.

Will create a sample itinerary next time. For now you can also read my review about the bed and breakfast La Vida Orchard in Samal Island.

Until our next discovery in the City!
