Truffle King Ramen now available at Ramen Nagi Concept Store ’till December 2018

Truffle lovers, well this article is surely for you.

One of my favorite ramen house, Ramen Nagi, recently opened its 19th store located at the 2nd floor of this new mall called One Bonifacio High Street. The newest branch is the first of its kind since Ramen Nagi started 5 years ago, for it is the only store opened by Ramen Nagi with this look.

The concept store had an open kitchen were diners can fully see how the Ramen Man prepares it. It got a long tables for big groups people or even for solo food adventurers. According to Ramen Master Ikuta Satoshi, he personally designed this store to say thank you to all the Filipino Ramen Nagi supporters. All over the world, it is considered that their market here in the Philippines is really strong, making them feel to pay back by opening up this very first concept store, Satoshi added.

I actually felt that visiting this store was an extension of my stay in Tokyo, Japan. Though,  It could have been good if I was able to also try and taste one of their branches in Japan.

Having a moment with my Truffle King Ramen

Along with the opening of the new branch was the launch of this very special ramen, the Truffle King Ramen. This limited edition ramen will be available up to December 2018 and will only be serve here at One Bonifacio High Street branch. Chef Satoshi personally created the menu and luckily, I was able to be one of the first to try it.

Well, just a quick disclaimer, I am not a fan of truffle (and I am not a fan of it’s smell most specially), thus it was a quite a challenge for me to really take this Truffle King Ramen. To my surprise, I was able to finish it. Lol! Sorry I didn’t really got a nice shot of it though. But I highly recommend for you to add a little spice on it to make the dish more flavorful.

If you are not a fan of Truffle (like me), you can still go with their specialty gourmet ramen like the Butao King and Black King.

I was also able to taste some of their side dish and appetizers. My favorite was the Nagi Star Salad and the Chicken Karaage.
