A taste of Kapampangan flavor at Apag Marangle
Translated as Hain sa Bukid, Apag Marangle is a restaurant situated in the middle of a fish pond, serving authentic medley of mouth-watering Kapampangan dishes and related cuisine perfectly complemented by an inviting native architecture. I was able to visit the place when I was invited to attend this years Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival. Through the #VisitPampanga campaign, the bloggers and other media where also invited to experience the different things Pampanga could offer, which includes dining at Apag Marangle. Upon our arrival, we were brought to their biggest covered area. I think this is the main restaurant. The other tables can be found lined up next to it covered in bamboo huts. Before our heavy lunch, Apag Marangle head chef, demoed a quick sinigang recipe.
