Isaribi Japanese Restaurant and Yakiniko opens its 3rd store in Quezon City

How do I qualify an authentic Japanese dishes, even I wasn’t able to visit Japan yet? Well, I would probably depend on what the experts has to say, that is, not just the usual chefs rather the Japanese themselves.

And speaking of authenticity, Isaribi Japanese Restaurant makes it to my list. The newly opened restaurant not just embodied the authenticity into their food but as well as to their interior. And I personally felt transported to a local Japanese store just by looking at the façade.

Located in Scout Lozano near Tomas Morato, Isaribi, which means light or lamp in Japan that fisherman use in fishing is your gateway to your Japanase dish cravings. The newest branch was born just a few months after opening two of their branches located in Taguig and Makati. What’s unique about Isaribi Tomas Morato Branch is that they included some Korean Dishes in the menu, for according to their study; Quezon City clients like to have a few Korean dishes.

Our late lunch was a feast of fresh fish like salmon and tuna and other seafood products. We got Sushi, Sashimi, Yakiniku, Wagyu Beef, and grilled Sea Foods! Ingredients are mostly imported and yet, they still manage to keep the prices low (Wow!). Japanese Chef Misayuki Sato prepared some of their specials for us to tastes; just take a look at this!

They serve these huge Oysters, scallops and this weird looking Japanese Sazae Shells, which we grilled on a smokeless contraption in our table. I’m not really into it so I decided to drool over the Maki and Sashimi set instead.

I love how they presented the sashimi in huge boats that smokes!

And oh the Takoyaki set is not to be missed! It is really affordable. Clients can also enjoy around 100 varieties of Japanese liquor.

Also, as a bonus for the opening of the branch, Isaribi offers unlimited rice promo during lunch and dinner hour. Isaribi is open from 11am to 3pm and 5pm to 1am.
