AirAsia Presents “Red Talks with Daphne” 6-part web series

AirAsia has always been my go to low cost airlines especially when travelling within the Philippines. Being a thrifty traveller, I’m always on the lookout whenever AirAsia hosts a seat sale, which I think they held almost every month. Actually, we recently traveled to Davao City via AirAsia. And true to their words on making travelling accessible to everyone, AirAsia is voted the world’s best low cost carrier for 8 consecutive years by Skytrax.

Success doesn’t come as easy at it is, and just like Air Asia, becoming a top-notch airlines didn’t happened overnight. Behind the success of the company are stories waiting to be told. This, along with the other inspiring stories about Air Asia are what the award-winning TV host and producer, Daphne Osena-Paez will deliver at the 6-part web series entitled “Red Talks with Daphne“.
I was able to see the first part of the series at a media launch held at the VIP Cinema of Venice Grand Canal Mall. The first webisode officially airs March 25, 2017.
Philippines AirAsia Brand Manager, David Viray shares
“AirAsia was established with a dream of making flying affordable and accessible to all and this success story has inspired so many people and communities across the region. The Red Talks team led by Daphne traveled far and beyond to search for places and met people who share the same dream and story”
Destination: Dream (The Man with the Red Cap)
The first episode talks about the man with the red cap, Tony Fernandes, AirAsia’s Group CEO. Set at the Air Asia HQ in Kuala Lumpur, Tony shares his stories and humble beginnings to Daphne.
I love how low profile Tony Fernandes  is. He even opted not to be called ‘Sir’ by his subordinates to prevent communication barrier. It was my first time seeing the Air Asia HQ and I love how open and spacious it is. I wish our office space where the same. I suddenly felt envious and excited for the person who won the free flight to KL and a tour at Air Asia HQ. Hopefully I could experience it as well next time.

Here are the next Red Talks with Daphne episodes to watch for:
