Thank you 2016 and Level up 2017! #PiattosTime

A few weeks before the end of the year, while I was sitting next to my desk, finishing a pack of Piattos. A moment of silence came in bringing me memories of the past. It was my free time so I decided to sit back and relax while I look back at the year 2016.

Almost the same time last year, I created an open letter to my self and on the other note I listed down some goals that I wanted to achieve in 2016. It was not a long list with around 6-8 major goals with more than a handful minors that I’ve already achieved along the way.

I wasn’t really able to finish everything and some are still on the works but as another year of my life was added. With God’s help I’m trying to make sure to complete everything and level up my listings this 2017.

Let’s begin.

Early of 2016, I did a lot or random travels. I was able to do a North Luzon trip going to La Union, Pagudpud, Vigan and Laoag. I also had the chance to go back to Antipolo, Rizal and visited the famous Hinulugang Taktak. I also did Cebu and swim my way to Oslob. This 2017, hopefully, I plan to do more of that, maybe more unplanned road-trips to nearby destinations with friends to tag with.

Last 2016, I was able to own my dream phone as well – I got an iPhone 6 plus. I won it at Digits Trading appreciation day. But a sad thing happened when I unintentionally drowned my phone at the beach and it occasionally died. Well, I guess its not to bad to dream to own one again this year, right? Promise, I would not let it get even near the beachfront (*wink).

Last 2016, I flew to two local destination and two international travels (Indonesia & Cambodia).

This year, I planned to target Bohol and Davao and also dreaming to do Hong-kong, Macau, Singapore (again) and (hopefully) Thailand and South Korea!

Last 2016, I finally learn how to drive and manage to get a driving license. But because I was not practicing that much I did forget everything I learned from the driving school. This 2017, I planned to continue honing my skills in driving and hopefully manage to get my own car very soon.

My TV show Bread n’ Butter ended up last year. The last episode was aired June of 2016 but this closure opened up a chance for me to do other things. Now, (finally) I have managed to put up my own Youtube channel and start Vlogging. Hopefully, this 2017 would be a good year for me in this new field. I can’t wait to upload my next webisode. Of course, I wish for you not to forget to subscribe.

Putting up my very own business was also one of my goals last 2016. But it was not that easy at all that up to now, I’m still in the process of making it real. Hopefully, this year would let me cut the ribbon and open it up.

In 2016, I was able to start working on my Room Project. It was a room given to me by my parents in our house in Valenzuela. I planned to do an all white minimalist- industrial type concept but I think I still need more time (and money) to finish everything and hopefully, I could be able to use it this year.

My pack of Piattos was almost finished, but I still got one last goal to look back and list down for 2017. As always, My wish and my goal is to just be a better person every year, to be able to gather more experiences in life, to love and to be loved and to be able to spread the goodness in each of the hearts of the people who I have manage to choose and spend my life with.

Thank you 2016 and Welcome 2017.

Until our next discovery in the City!
