One bag isn’t enough at the Oishi Snactacular 2016

Finally, I was able to attend the Oishi Snacktacular 2016 event! I’ve been wanting to try this since the first time I’ve heard about it and finally I did it. And guess what? I even got a chance to broke the record of the day with most number of snack catch with 121 Snacks! Woot! Woot!

Back Story

A few days before the Oishi Snacktacular 2016 event, Oishi sent me a box full of Oishi products along with an invitation to the event. The theme of the invitation makes me think about the Nintendo game, Supermario brothers.

Oh WOW!!! Been waiting and wanting to attend this. #oishisnacktacular event is happening this July 15-17, 2016 in SM MOA so I hope to see you all there. Excited to unbox this! Will post whats inside on Snapchat (nognoginthecity).

I love how creatively they created the invites!

Hanging at the Moment at the Oishi Snacktacular 2016 event

Like, literally hanging! scroll down to see how It looked like!

The media event starts at 11 in the morning, at SM MOA. Farrrrr!!! I got a day job from 8-5pm and I was wondering how I would be able to fly back and forth from QC to MOA in just an hour #LunchBreakBlogger. And because it was a Friday, I got the dilemma of getting out of the office before break time. I came at the event a bit late, all the Oishi Ambassadors are already there and the fans are going crazy seeing Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. And as expected, lines are already long.

Hello John! lols! More Photos Here.

The Oishi Team O ambassador i’ve seen at the event includes Alex Gonzaga, Daniel Padilla, Elmo Magalona, Kathryn Bernardo, Ramon Bautista, and Slater Young. Newest Oishi Team O ambassador Maine Mendoza came on a different day thou. Sayang!

I belong!

Before the event, I said to myself that I would make sure to try all the booths most specially the Oishi Snack Catcher, but with a limited time and long queue, I thought I wouldn’t be able to do everything so I decided to try the easy ones first.

First booth I’ve visited was the Oishi Make your Snack for only Php 20. Here I was able to pick two snack flavors mix together in one pack. It’s actually a good start specially that I feel really hungry already.

Even the line was a long; I decided to line up at the Oishi Snack Shack. Here you could be able to fill 2 ft. Oishi Giant Pack in 60 seconds for only Php 295.00. Super sulit! Specially if your going to be wise in getting the most expensive items first before the cheaper ones. I was aiming for the Smart-C+ drinks but unfortunately it was all gone on our turn.

Look! Can you guess what Oishi snacks are inside Ruth’s Giant Oishi Pack!

Tip: Plan your strategy wisely and position your self to the items that you like to get first.

It was already 1:30pm when we finished the Snack Shack, I was running late, and actually I should be able to be back at the office by 1. But I said, this is my chance. I wouldn’t be able to do it again next time. So I decided to continue and found myself lining up at the Oishi Snack Catcher.

#BloggerSpotted: #Seatsfortwo!

Here, one can dive in and grab all you can for only Php 200. I got a chance to do it twice for Ruth, felt that she wouldn’t be able to get many. And guess what? I just didn’t get a lot, I even able to break the highest catch of the day as of 3pm, with 121 snacks catch! Amazing!

Tip: Use your legs to grab as many snack as you can. Wear shorts as much as possible so that the snack would not slid in when you squeeze it in. Also this activity needs a lot of core concentration, so better your body ready!

I ended up my Oishi Snacktacular experience with a cup of Oishi Slush and a photo at the Pack & Pose booth!

The event was so much fun even though we are all sweating because of the heat produce by the weather and the crowded people in the place. It was almost 4pm when I arrive at the office. And just to cover up the time spent outside, I let my officemates dwell in my Oishi Snack loots and let them get what they wanted. Witty right!?

Before going home, I dropped by at Sperry Store at TriNoma to pick up some shoes. Woot! Woot! Check out my #OOTD posts here.

Until our next discovery in the City!
