On my way to Boracay via Air Asia

To tell you honestly this would be my first time to really enjoy the waters of Boracay! A lot of my friends are always shock to know that but it is true. Thou technically I’ve been in Boracay once already, a few years back for work – check this out: trip! Magazine – Work and Play!

boracay

So let me consider this as my first trip then, even thou I’m hearing cliche stories about Boracay I’m still excited to visit this amazing place.

We were very pampered on this trip and I really enjoyed the Videoke session where I sang most of the songs and the movie nights where everybody has a comment on everything onscreen. But most specially the people i’ve been with make its twice the fun! But will tell you more of that on another post.

Let me fly you first via Air Asia!

This would be my first flight with bloggers because most of my travels are either for work or personal flights. Well I’m looking for more of this experience this 2016, right Air Asia? Haha!     Having Vin-Vin’s because Pax says so … lol! (Grab from Ruth check her post here)

Unexpectedly, guys got more baggage than the gals! We were given 15 kilos check in baggage each and it was too difficult for me to squeeze in all the things I need. I need to learn how to pack light next time! Off to our plane!

Whenever I book flights, lower rates with great service always attracts me and Air Asia tops my priority lists. True to their commitment “Now Everyone Can Fly” Air Asia offers the lowest rates to travellers.

I felt special seated at the second row (Air Asia premium seats rows 1 to 5). I was with ruth and Ms. Jo of Azalea Hotel. On the other side was Ana, Pax and Paul. On our back Photographer Gian and Myke while Melo sits at front.

Both having long legs, Ruth and I felt comfy at the premium seats for it offer bigger space and legroom. I decided to even put my backpack under my seat, and it was still fine!

We are bound to Kalibo and flying from Manila will only took 40 to 45 minutes so I decided to stay up, enjoy the clouds and in between, browse the pages of AirAsia’s Travel 3Sixty which makes me more eager to fly frequent.

I also found the Air Asia Inflight meal menu located at the seat pouch. Rice meals can be pre-ordered before the flight. The Menu includes Bangus Sisig, Buffalo Chicken Strips, and Barbeque Cola Beef. They even got dishes for vegetarians like Ana (anagon.com) the menu includes Vegetarian Chickpea Curry and Maan’s Pasta Arabiata.

For short flights like ours, having some cup now noodles or chips will do, you can also order cookies, coffee, bottled water or soda. But I’m really looking forward of tasting the rice meals specially the Barbeque Cola Beef, I’m really curios to know how it tastes like. Would love to try it next time!

And by the way, do download the Air Asia app, I used it mostly for instant checking of air fare rates, new destinations and/or availing discounts! Its user friendly and fun to navigate.

My journey continues on my next post … but first …
