Makati Junction Hostel, a cosy #Instagrammable Worthy place

Never thought that a hostel could look so interesting like the Makati Junction Hostel. The newly opened hostel is just so warm, welcoming and truly, as what I said, “Instagrammable” worthy.

Last February 16, 2015, (national events day for the bloggers) I was out the whole day attending different events, good thing I got a chance to squeeze in some time to I got a visit the newly opened hostel. Me, my blogger friends, Earth, John and Ruth came in around 9 in the evening (the check-in time was 3pm), good thing the party has not yet started.

Located at Gen. Luna Corner Don Pedro Streets, Barangay Poblacion, Makati, the place is just near to popular hangout places in he heart of Makati. (Makati Red Light district, Century City Mall, Antel hotel etc are just some of the places near the area.)

We got a chance to meet the people behind this newly constructed place. Ms. Cyndy Jarabata, owner of the hostel, says that they need to reconstruct a lot of things at the old building just to make it to what it looks like today. Thanks to their architect friend who also do the interior of the whole place. Good Job Edwin!

It was a big question how they put in this Trailer van inside the hostel. What they did is they cut it off into small pieces then put it back inside, converted it to a kitchen/bar.

Let’s look around the place now.

This area is called the TV room, its a cosy common place where you can chat and mingle with other people at the the hostel. Notice the glass wall? Thats Makati City map.

Trivia: Did you know that there are a total of 123 lights that can be found just at eh ground floor of this hostel. I just love the hanging pieces on the next photo.

The refurbished apartment building currently sports artfully curated interiors with a mix of new and upcycled construction materials, Makati Junction Hostel is a three-story property that boasts uniquely conceptual private and coed spaces. Let’s take a look at the other floors.

Makati Junction Hostel Artsy Room choices

Will explore more about the rooms next when I return. But for now did you know that if you book for a bed now, you’ll received 20% off which is valid for minimum stays of 2 nights, until 31 March 2015.
