How witty can Filipinos be? From Starbuko (sounds like Starbucks) that sells buko juice; Harry Cutter, a barbershop that is rooted from Harry Potter; Libing Things (living things ), which ironically named for a funeral parlor; Mami Pakyaw (from Manny Pacquiao) which sells mami noodles, and many more. Filipinos do really know how to crack it up, do some word play and creating a witty brand name. That is just crazily amazing!
One brand I recently discover do know how to be witty when it comes to product naming. But what is good about this product is aside from inducing ‘Pinoy Humor’, it also promotes responsible goodness while helping the indigenous and/or local producers in the country. The brand is called LOCALLY.
