Tight work schedules, monstrous traffic jams, the unpredictable weather, and that seemingly endless line at the gym are just some reasons (or excuses) that hinder me from reaching my fitness goals this year.
I was on and off the gym, tried running at the park, and other things just to stay on track. But my busy schedule (in layman’s term – laziness) just sometimes hinder’s everything. I know an amount of time should always be allocated if I really want to achieve something in life. But sometimes having too many things on your shoulder will force you to prioritised other stuff. Then I thought, if only there is a machine that I can be used at home that could give me same result while using it even for a shorter time.
Good thing I got the chance to try the Johnson’s Horizon Andes 5 Elliptical Trainer.
The Johnson’s Horizon Andes 5 Elliptical Trainer
The Johnson’s Horizon Andes 5 Elliptical Trainer provides a comfortable and effective workout motion which will have you burning calories in style. This fantastic model makes use of a generous 20 inch stride length, 10.5kg balanced flywheel, and over sized pivoting pedals to deliver a workout experience which will impress for its respective price tag!
At first I was skeptical that it would give me a full body workout but after trying it for a month it was surprisingly a great cardio workout.
My arms, gluts, abs, thighs, and legs got to work as soon as I stepped on the Andes elliptical trainer.
While running on the Andes I can keep track of my progress on the LCD monitor to see how much calories I have used up, and the number of strides I have made.
Another thing I like about the Andes is that it felt like I was running on air which means less impact on my knees.
I can’t help but compare it with my morning runs at the park when I had to rest a bit to give my aching feet and knees time to recover.
With the Andes, I can also watch TV, and I can check messages on my mobile phone with the mobile phone slot on the machine.
Aside from giving me a low-impact whole body exercise, Andes trainer is easy to fold and store. I just need to press a button, turn it up then fold and store it away.
